    Michale's Senate Map Prediction

Either way, looks like the GOP has a lock on Congress....

    And here's the funny thing...

By going all batsheet crazy, calling the GOP "Fascist MAGA" etc etc etc, Democrats and Biden have now painted themselves into a corner..

Since the GOP is all but assured to win the House and Senate, Democrats (AND Biden) are now going to have to WORK with the VERY people that they labeled "fascists"....

If Democrats (AND Biden) refuse to work with the GOP for the next 2 years, then they run the risk of this being even a WORSE 2 years for Democrats and Biden than the previous 2 years..

    If that is even possible..

See?? This is what happens when, out of bigotry and hate, you demonize your political opponents..

For, when those very same political opponents win, you are going to have to concede that you are working with "fascists" who are a "threat to democracy"....

    Bone head move...

    I'm just sayin'...

Republicans have made it clear that THEY have the answers to all of our economic problems, so it will be great to see them providing Biden with the legislation to sign that will fix our country's problems! Oh wait, ya'll don't want a Democrat to ever get to sign into law legislation that the nation will view as being good for Americans.

Maybe they will finally introduce us to the replacement for the ACA that we've been waiting for for over 13 years! Lemme guess, two more weeks? It'll be ready in two weeks?

Hunter Biden doesn't have anything to do with our economy. No matter how much he was paid for positions that he wasn't qualified for, that has nothing to do with inflation. Have ya'll decided what charges you want to impeach Biden for yet?

Did ya see where Trump openly admitted to taking government documents that he wasn't allowed to have to a crowd at one of his rallies this past weekend! Stable genius!

Meaningless in the grand scheme of things but it's the race I'm closely watching. Hall screwed up just about every election she has run including this one as she has announced that beyond the initial reporting of results so far, there will be no updates until 6pm tomorrow. But aside from that I had to go through her office to get a deed transferred to a trust and even though my letter was drawn up by a lawyer, it took three visits, each requiring a notary to notarize the updated letter as no nit was left unpicked by Hall's office... this one is personal.

    Republican: 6,226
    Nonpartisan/other: 6,292

In total, that leaves 57,664 mail ballots that have arrived at the county registrar's office still to be counted.

Well, that's a lot more outstanding mail-in ballots in Washoe and still more coming in the mail.

I'm happy to say I voted for the winning entry. Alas, that didn't entitle me to a sticker; I would have worn it proudly. I had to settle for one as shown at the top of this column.

I got a totally lame sticker this year, the text was white and you couldn't even tell it said "I voted/Yo voté" from like two feet away. But my wife got a totally cool sticker, so there must have been some sort of contest here too...

Funny how you didn't care about "government documents" when Hillary destroyed 32,000 of them..

Even funnier is that you cared about 33,000 destroyed emails when none of them were classified, none of them were a threat to national security, and none of them were covered under the Presidential Records Act and were being sought by NARA. Yet Trump is guilty (by his own statements verifying the crimes) of violating all of the above with all of the documents he admits to taking and you do not seem upset at all?

"Trump is being picked on just because he is a schmuck who brags about the crimes he has committed...boo hoo! So unfair!"

    Boo hoo, indeed!

Face reality, Russ.. You don't care about government documents.. You simply hate President Trump and are trying to take him down..

As has been stated on here numerous times, YOU do not speak for me, or for KICK, EVER!

And I'm not trying to take Trump down, he's doing that quite well, all on his own! I'm just enjoying watching cultists like you try to spin his crashing and burning into something positive for him. It's so sad to watch your desperate attempts to support him... when, like every one of his children that he doesn't want to have sex with, nothing you do for him will ever make him love you back!

What you do here isn't "political debate." It's a predictable monotonous circle jerk where you rudely regurgitate a whole lot of plagiarized and cut-and-paste right-wing conspiracy theory utter asinine propaganda all over another man's blog.

You also just characterized a state full of Casey Anthonys, criminals, perps, reprobates and "Florida men" as "innocent lives." Isn't that cute?

I regret to inform you that there exists no scenario wherein you could ever "piss me off;" although you being the board troll and a resident of the Penis State, I have no doubt whatsoever you'd attempt the pissing.

    Hate/Bigotry much??

Said the board troll and self-described Democrat hater and admitted bigot who viewed the attempted murder of the 82-year-old husband of the Speaker of the House as an opportunity to laugh it up and make jokes.

That right-wing Trumpian-style bigotry and extremism of yours isn't debate; it's demonstrable hate.

    Amen, brother!

Did you notice how the entire country (except Florida) pretty much just gave Trump the middle finger?

Benedict Donald doesn't need any help (and never did) in order to detonate himself and everyone around him; it's who he is and has always been, and he doesn't give a damn about America and would sell this country out for his ego and a paycheck... but only if we let him.

You mean an apology that came hours later but only after he got board monitored? I must have missed that.

    Sigh.

There was no part of my commentary at [93] that wasn't demonstrably factual. If there wasn't a trolling fabricating representative Trumpanzee who gets his jollies obsessing about and insulting other commenters, putting words in their mouths and displaying his disgusting inner core by posting jokes on this forum about the attempted murder of the 82-year-old husband of a Democrat, I suppose none of that would have been necessary.

Thank you again. No copy-and-paste; I used a properly formatted img tag with a link to the original jpg. Worked like a champ in preview, but when I did an inspect afterward, it had been stripped in its entirety. Seems a reasonable precaution, though, since you wouldn't want folks posting any old image to your comments.

As to Boaty McBoatFace, the County actually picked this as a finalist (it made the commissioners laugh) and drew the attention of everyone who saw it. I haven't looked for pictures of voters out and about with these stickers, but I bet these started lots of conversations.

The county was trying to "engage youth" in the voting process with this contest. They may not have expected it to go viral, but they plan to run a similar contest this year, I believe, for any ballot items that arise. I plan to check in on that. Should be wild.
