I never doxed anybody. I did, however, send Neil an email on 02/16/2017 at 7:14 a.m. apologizing for emailing him but letting him know about the personal information of himself and Michale that was posted and explaining that it was in multiple posts because Michale quoted it. I also gave him a link so he could have it removed or get CW to remove it... but as you correctly point out, he had already revealed himself on this board long before then. :)

Personally I found the Tamper Monkey route the preferred one as Michale has not had an original thought since the Bush Administration.

There is a law that was passed in 1998... the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act... that does provide government workers with additional options. Under the ICWPA, the concerns of Snowden could have been raised with the office of the Inspector General at NSA or by speaking to congressional intelligence committees in the Senate or House in order to at least attempt to avoid any violation of the Espionage Act... in a perfect world, of course.

In addition, President Obama signed an EO on October 10, 2012 (well before Snowden's leak), with further directives protecting whistle-blowers.
