What ya'all really need to come to grips with is the FACT that, over the last couple years, Demonrats have ROYALLY screwed up in EVERY endeavor they have ever done..

And NOW the bill is coming due..

Things would be a LOT nicer around here if ya'all could simply concede what the OVERWELMING facts are telling ya'all...

Demonrats are going to get slaughtered in 18 days and Demonrats DESERVE to get slaughtered in 18 days.. :D

And MORE good FACTS about the Demonrats and their HORRIBLE DEFUND DEMONIZE DEMORALIZE THE POLICE POLICIES that not only have gotten HUNDREDS of cops killed, but have ALSO decimated the black American communities...

Awakening from the “Defund” Nightmare

Progressive commentators are beginning to notice the damage their criminal-justice policies have wrought in America’s most vulnerable communities.

Over the past few weeks, several top progressive commentators have completely reversed their views on “defunding police” and adopted a more tough-on-crime approach. Most notably, Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian—key figures of the premier progressive outlet The Young Turks—have awakened to the grim consequences of the policies they initially supported.

Uygur recently posted a viral tweet lambasting the “defund the police” movement as “wildly counterproductive framing” and asking progressives when they will “admit they were wrong?” These statements contrast starkly with Uygur’s tweets during the nationwide George Floyd protests: “I’m done. I’m now supporting #DefundThePolice 100%. I already agreed with the substance of the argument & now I’m down for the framing, too.”

The irony of Uygur’s recent statement is that he fails to answer the very question he poses to the Left: he has not acknowledged that he was wrong. In fact, prominent liberal commentators on platforms from The Young Turks to CNN helped popularize the movement that led to massive cuts to police department budgets in 2020. Major cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, and San Francisco slashed funding for their departments amid an unprecedented rise in officer retirements and low officer morale. The financial, cultural, legal, and psychological ramifications of the Black Lives Matter-fueled defund-police movement correlated with record-breaking 30 percent rise in homicides in 2020, followed by another 6 percent rise last year.

YOUNG TURKS??

What a JOKE those people are..

Of course, they are hypocrites..

First the support ALL the Demonrats' HATE COPS policies..

NOW the back-pedal and try to pretend they were against those policies all along..

Kinda like some Weigantians® here who claim the HATE COPS policies don't even exist..

When the FACTS clearly show that those HATE COPS policies are STILL alive and well...

And even better.. It's one of the BIGGEST reasons why Demonrats are going to lose so badly in 18 days.. :D

Repetitive Boring Troll
113

I especially liked how you went crying to the Weigantia® Moderator for help!!

I quoted the blog's author/owner because I especially liked the way he pegged your trolling modus operandi in dead-on-balls-accurate fashion so why wouldn't I quote that excellent description for which I wholly agree? Rhetorical question. I mean, it dang sure isn't the first time I've quoted Chris, and I promise you it definitely won't be the last.

That is just sooo YOU

Yes, I'm definitely an author quoter, particularly when he nails the subject in perfect detail, and he definitely described you dead-on perfectly.

It's positively a shame how you can't "calm down" and be "objective and rational" instead of "hysterical and emotional" and find your way clear to respecting CW's sentiments I quoted versus continuing the trolling shit posting you seem to have such a complete lack of self-control over.

Good talk.

But even there, Democrats are feeling some new heartburn. In Washington State, Senator Patty Murray’s lead over Tiffany Smiley, the Republican, has narrowed slightly since the summer. And as the polls have tightened, Smiley has outraised her Democratic opponent for the first time — by nearly a two-to-one margin.

A loss for Murray would be a major upset. And if Democrats now need to worry about a state like Washington, that’s a dire sign for their chances in November.

Democrats just keep getting more and more bad news..

Aren't ya'all glad you have ME here to make sure ya'all get the news??

I mean, just imagine how bad ya'all would feel if you went the next 3 weeks thinking everything is awesome for Demonrats, only to come to election day and get a HUGE.. HUGE rude awakening..

How BAD would that be for ya'all, eh??

So, I am just doing my part to keep Weigantians® informed...

So, yer welcome.. :D

Democrats’ Feared Red October Has Arrived

Many Democrats hoped it would be a “weird election.” But with Election Day just three weeks away, the midterms aren’t shaping up that way.

Here’s the thing about elections: When they break, they usually break in one direction. And right now, all the indicators on my political dashboard are blinking red — as in, toward Republicans.

First, there’s inflation. It hasn’t gone away as the Biden administration had hoped, and the Federal Reserve likewise seems to be hamstrung in dealing with it. Americans are being squeezed between exorbitant prices for consumer goods — inflation is still at 40-year highs — and interest rates that the Fed has ratcheted up as it seeks to rein in those prices. Anyone trying to buy a home now faces 30-year mortgage rates that have soared past 6 percent.

The latest New York Times/Siena poll, my colleague Nate Cohn wrote this week, suggests that “the conditions that helped Democrats gain over the summer no longer seem to be in place,” with voters’ sour view of the economy driving the downturn in the party’s prospects.
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/19/us/politics/democrats-midterm-elections.html

And THIS is coming from the NY GRIME!!

Definitely something ya'all should sit up and take notice, eh??

And STILL the hits keep on coming, eh??

New York Times article warns Democrats' worst midterm fears being realized: 'Red October has arrived'

Economy, crime and ‘a huge communication failure’ are to blame for Democrat woes, Times writer says

Voters don’t need to hunt for "Red October" any longer, according to the New York Times. It's here.

The paper's politics editor sounded the alarm on Thursday as midterm elections loom, warning readers that a red wave could be on the horizon, and things could quickly become "dire" for Democrats.

The piece by Blake Hounshell was bluntly headlined, "Democrats’ Feared Red October Has Arrived," detailing how the "midterms aren’t shaping up" how Democrats had hoped.

"Here’s the thing about elections: When they break, they usually break in one direction. And right now, all the indicators on my political dashboard are blinking red — as in, toward Republicans," Hounshell wrote.

Kevin Spacey found not liable in civil trial: Jury reaches verdict in sex abuse lawsuit

Kevin Spacey was found not liable in civil trial after jurors reached a verdict on Thursday. Accuser Anthony Rapp brought the case against him.

Kevin Spacey was found not liable in a civil sexual misconduct trial Thursday following more than an hour of deliberations by a jury in a New York courtroom.

Jurors reached the verdict shortly before 4 p.m. in the civil lawsuit filed against actor Kevin Spacey.

The former "House of Cards" actor is accused of assault, battery and emotional distress stemming from an incident against Anthony Rapp in 1986 when he was 14 years old.

"[That's] another issue I have with Democrats at this point in time. I want to emphasize that I don't have a problem with adults being able to do what they want, but I have a problem with people pushing children to get surgeries and confusing them about their identity in this way," Younes said.

She argued that the party misplaces its priorities on gender ideology issues while most Americans are more concerned about how to put food on their tables and tackling skyrocketing inflation, a dilemma she says pandemic-era economic shutdowns helped create.

Hopefully you can read this objectively when you calm down..

I'm (obviously) not Liz, but hopefully you can understand why me or anyone else here in the comments section would take issue with you deigning to "say" that it's Liz who needs to "calm down."

Let's look at the 2 sides here..

Already you err in describing a complex issue as a 2-sided one, but go on.

What am *I* guilty of??

You're a stunningly ignorant fabricating blowhard who fancies himself as some sort of counterbalance to a debate... when you more closely resemble a flaming spamming board troller.

I am guilt of having a different political opinion than everyone else here..

That is demonstrably not a fact.

I am guilty of defending that opinion with passion and aplomb..

You're not remotely a defender; you're a spamming instigating attacking troll who fancies himself a "debater." We all already know you hate democrats. It isn't necessary to interject your hatred over and over and over and over and spam the board with the same repetitive bullshit to make your point.

CW said it better:

Seriously, we don't need to read it forty or fifty times every day in order to get your message. In fact, the more you post exactly the same thing, the more the rest of us think: "Wow -- he's really insecure about this, he must have some serious doubts that Trump's going to win." In other words, the exact opposite of the impression you're trying to give.

Please, for the love of all that's holy, comment about the article I've written. Comment about someone else's comment. Comment about science fiction or music. But put a cork in the repetitious same-old same-old so the rest of us can have a conversation.

We get it. You don't like Democrats and you think Trump's going to win. You think it is inevitable, which is exactly how you felt in pretty much every election that comes along. Sometimes you are right (2016) and sometimes you are wrong (2012, 2018). But just being a broken record really isn't adding much of anything to the conversation.

Is any of this getting through? One can only hope...

And yes.. I am guilty of personal attacks of a political variety.. By that, I mean I say things like "Yer a moron for voting for Demonrats.." A personal attack, yes.. But a personal attack based on a POLITICAL point..

Not unlike you're a Trump cock holster. Isn't that right, gullible Trump cult rube?

So.. THAT is what I am guilty of...

But wait, there's more. You're also an instigating board trolling asshole who equates flooding a man's political blog with repetitively hurled insults as some kind of political "debate."

Now, let's see what Shit Husband Russ, Moron Vick and Dishonorable Discharge MC are guilty of..

Don't know any of those commenters, but Russ and I are guilty of making you cry incessantly like a terminal butthurt whiney little victim. Poor little man-baby.

But you need to decide whether you are going to be objective and rational about things??

That isn't a question so you need to learn grammar/punctuation and also seriously grow the fuck up, troll. Who the hell do you think you are to lecture Liz or anyone else on this forum regarding objectivity and/or rationality? Rhetorical question. Your patronizing mansplaining is stunning in its rank ignorance.

Or if you are going to be hysterical and emotional and make it all about political bigotry...

Oh, Liz is hysterical and emotional. Bullshit, condescending total bollocks.

I do not like this term and therefore use it sparingly, but you, troll, are literally the personification of what it means to be trailer trash.

"Things have changed since then, and I would say especially with COVID where the Democrats really embraced authoritarian policies in terms of closing businesses and schools," she added.

Younes lambasted Democrats' notoriety for censorship, particularly through the Big Tech and social media crackdowns, adding that the issues she finds so important have made her consider voting Republican for some time.

"We even have a voting bloc called ‘Democrats for DeSantis’ because we've really admired his way of dealing with COVID," she said.

Way to go, Governor DeSantis!!! :D

Lifelong Democrat attorney ignites Twitter with switch to GOP: Republicans pose 'far less of a threat'

Jenin Younes says censorship, authoritarian COVID policies, gender ideology drove her away from the left

A lifelong Democrat writer and civil liberties attorney said Thursday she will vote Republican for the first time, motivated by what she sees as the left's embrace of "authoritarian" measures during the COVID pandemic and censorship of opposing views.

"Though I was a lifelong Democrat until 2020, I will be voting red this November and in every election for the foreseeable future. I firmly believe that, despite my many disagreements with platforms of the Republican Party, it poses far less of a threat than Democrats," Jenin Younes wrote on Twitter this week.

Younes told Steve Doocy on Thursday that several crucial issues compelled her to make the switch, including gender identity politics forced on children, Biden's executive overreach, censorship and "authoritarianism."

Jeezus, Biden is so lost in senility and dementia...

Apparently I am not the only one who has noticed how lost in senility and dementia Biden is... :^/

Focus group rejects Biden running in 2024, stuns MSNBC analyst: 'That was quick, wow'

Focus group participant expressed concern about Biden's 'deterioration'

MSNBC political analyst Elise Jordan was "jarred" Thursday to find a focus group of swing voters don’t think President Biden should seek re-election in 2024.

"They just do not see it as viable for President Biden to run for a second term, they simply think he’s too old, and they’re not sure about is ability to do the job," Jordan said on "Morning Joe."

Jordan held two focus groups, one with female swing voters in Pittsburgh and another with Black Democrats in Philadelphia. She asked the Pittsburgh-based swing voters if Biden should run again and the women quickly answered with a resounding, "No."

In a clip flagged by Mediaite, Jordan responded, "That was quick, wow. Why shouldn’t Joe Biden run again?"

Remember what I said all the way up at comment #32??

Fraydeeman's disability prevents him from being a viable US Senator..

I am sure the Demonrat plan is to replace Fraydeeman if he somehow manages to win the election..

Which isn't really a concern because Fraydeeman simply cannot win..

Looks like Creepy Dementia Biden got the memo, but forgot that it was supposed to be a secret...

Biden predicts Gisele Fetterman will be 'great, great lady in the Senate'

Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman's health and ability to exercise public office have been in question after a May stroke

President Biden predicted that Gisele Fetterman, wife of Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman, that she will be a "great lady in the senate."

Biden made the remark while visiting Pittsburgh, where he was acknowledging the renovation of a bridge that had made headlines after collapsing last year.

Biden thanked Fetterman, Pennsylvania's lieutenant governor, for attending the speech, saying that he would try to be brief for the sake of the lieutenant governor. During the brief acknowledgment, Biden made the comment that Fetterman's wife would do well in the Senate.

"John, thank you very much for running, I really do appreciate it," Biden said. "And Gisele, you're gonna be a great, great lady in the Senate."

Biden tells reporter 'Count, kid, count' after she questions number of candidates campaigning with him

Biden's slim campaign calendar is raising eyebrows, showing the weakness of a low approval rating

President Biden brushed off questions about his lack of campaign trail appearances ahead of the midterm elections Thursday, snapping at a reporter who pressed him on the issue.

Biden's White House has faced questions throughout the week regarding his slim calendar, with multiple reports saying Democrats in tight races view a visit from him as a liability. A reporter asked Biden about his campaign plans as he was walking to Marine One on Thursday.

"John Fetterman is going to appear with you today in Pennsylvania, but there haven't been that many candidates campaigning with you. Why?" a reporter asked.

"That's not true. There have been 15! Count, kid, count! Alright?," the president responded.

"Okay and are there going to be even more?" the reporter pressed.

We can already see that the Latino vote is up for grabs in this country. Every year, fewer and fewer Latinos see their interests and values reflected in the racial justice platitudes and moral equivocating of the Democratic Party. Many of them are no longer buying the Jim Crow 2.0 line, if they ever truly did buy it. When the backlash fully arrives, it may irreparably damage the tenuous coalition on which progressives have staked their political future. And if that happens, Democrats won’t be able to blame their failure on some loose talk behind closed doors.

The party in power pays.

It's an old story, but one that's still relevant – the party that holds the White House almost always loses congressional seats in a midterm election. And Democrats already are working with small margins given the 50-50 split in the Senate and only an eight seat advantage in the House.

This is dead on ballz accurate and requires no further explanation.. :D

Polls may underestimate Republican support.

The pollsters I've worked with over the years are smart professionals who take their craft seriously. They want to get the numbers right – and have strong financial incentives to do so. Even so, pollsters badly undercounted Republican voters ahead of the 2016 and 2020 elections, and there's reason to think it could happen again this year. Some media outlets such as Real Clear Politics are trying to adjust for a possible undercount of Republican voters this year based on previous election results. That's tricky at best. But there is a common perception that the polls are inaccurate, and not in Democrats' favor.

Polls are run by Media people and the Media is in the shit cellar with Americans.. No more so than with GOP and Independent/NPA Americans..

So, any poll has a BUILT IN undercount of GOP'ers and Independents..

When reading a poll, you ADD 5-10 points to the GOP side and THAT gives you a more accurate feel..

And the person who made background checks on Weigantia® commenters acceptable should be the SECOND one to go.. :D

Poor little victim. Let's all shed some tears for the commenter who fancies himself a "counterbalance" to the "debate" when he much more closely resembles a repetitive spamming blowhard that hurls nonstop repetitive insults and invectives at anyone singularly and everyone collectively who doesn't agree with his increasingly conspiratorial pathetic political rants... more succinctly, the board's troll.

Poor little trolling man-baby; it must be rough being the spamming blowhard who boasts about running commenters off the board to have encountered some commenters that he couldn't insult and troll off the forum. Boo hoo.

I regret to inform you that you have not a scintilla of control over what goes on outside this forum: ZERO, ZILCH, NADA.

I further regret to inform you that if you're looking to castigate the commenter who made it all possible, you need look no further than your mirror in order to find that fabricating wannabe who was so pathetically bad at lying and so exceedingly stunningly (not) "brilliant" at "public safety."

In conclusion: You're not only an uneducated gullible spamming fabricating board troll, you're a pathetically whining one.

So, to recap: If you're going to dish it out... suck it up, buttercup.

Democrats had hoped that the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in June would lead to a strong voter backlash. That could happen, but polls increasingly indicate that economic issues will drive voters' decisions. A new Times/Siena College poll, for example, found that the economy and inflation were the only issues that more than 10% of likely voters cited as the most important issue facing the nation. The same poll found that likely voters favor Republican congressional candidates over Democrats 49% to 45%.

This is ANOTHER big one that is SOLELY and UNEQUIVOCALLY on the Demonrat Party..

Baby Killing is an issue that ONLY appeals to Demonrats..

So making Baby Killing an election issue is NOT going to get the Independents over to vote Demonrat...

Basically, the Baby Killing issue is ONLY a Demonrat issue..

It's not gonna garner the Demonrat Party any more votes..

Crime is on the rise.

Violent crime increased more than 4% in the first half of this year – and that's on top of already high crime rates from previous years. A Politico/Morning Consult poll this month found that 60% of voters said crime would be a major factor in determining which candidates they'd support in November. Not all those voters will go for the GOP, but it's Republicans who are hammering their Democratic opponents on the increase in crime in campaigns across the country, in part because it was progressives who championed "defund the police" and, fairly or not, Democrats are still associated with that deeply unpopular idea.

THIS is the big one..

Yea, I will concede that with the previous 2, ya'all MIGHT have SOME iota of a rational argument against blaming Creepy Dementia Biden and Demonrats for inflation and the like.. Putin etc etc.. I will allow that... I don't think it's factually accurate but it IS a somewhat rational argument..

But on Violent Crime??

That is SOLELY, COMPLETELY and UNEQUIVOCALLY on Creepy Dementia Biden and the Demonrats..

UTTERLY.. WITHOUT QUESTION.. UNDENIABLE...

The Demonrats' HATE COPS platform and DEFUND DEMONIZE DEMORALIZE THE POLICE policies are a DIRECT cause of the current violent crime explosion.. The NO BAIL and PRO CRIMINAL District Attorneys are ALSO the reason for the explosion of violent crime..

So, while ya'all MIGHT have some semblance of a rational rebuttal on Inflation and the like..

Ya'all have ZERO.. ZILCH... NADA of a rational rebuttal for the explosion of violent crime..

THAT is completely the fault of the Demonrat Party and THAT alone is reason enough to throw them all out of office...

And I challenge ANYONE here to say different..

Yawn. The Oregon governor race is being split by Phil Knight running a moderate to conservative democrat as an independent spoiler while bank rolling the Republican candidate. The problem is as Johnson fades, Kotek is picking up more support than Drazan. The other issue is Governor Brown has had a bunch of recall attempts against her, "attempts" being a rather generous description. None have come even slightly close to getting on the ballot. I'm sure the progressives would be more than happy to return the favor considering all the crazy antics that Drazan pulled while in the state legislature and that recall will get on the ballot. I would be surprised if Drazan, if elected, would make it to the end of her term. Everything else is dominated by Democrats: house representatives, senators, state government. It's not red but momentary light purple flash at most.

It's almost like we vote by the people and not land area...

Interest rates also are soaring.

To slow inflation, the Federal Reserve has been forced to aggressively increase interest rates, which for the American public means the cost of buying a home or a car or paying down credit card debt is substantially more expensive now than at the start of 2022. It's to the point that I'm starting to have flashbacks to 1980, when the misery index was a topic of discussion in homes across America. Ask Jimmy "I lost 45 states" Carter how that worked out for him and his party.

Once again, these problems can be laid TOTALLY and COMPLETELY at the feet of Creepy Dementia Biden and the Demonrats..

The only way to fix these problems is to throw Demonrats out of office...

Inflation remains out of control.

The cost of everything from gas to grapes has shot up at the fastest pace in 40 years. A friend who runs an urban nonprofit recently told me his organization is asking the public to donate deodorant, soap, shampoo and toothpaste – items not covered by food stamps – because the families they serve can no longer afford such necessities. The pain of runaway inflation is felt in all sorts of humbling and frustrating ways. And voters are most likely to vent their anger at the party in control of Congress and the White House.

And Creepy Dementia Biden and the Demonrats are SOLELY and COMPLETELY to blame for the out of control inflation..

So, why should Americans vote Demonrat??? For 2 more years of the same???

OK Now getting back to the coming election..

Lets look more in depth at the USA TODAY article that outlines why it's likely to be a Red Tsunami in 18 days..

Joe Biden is unpopular.

More than 54% of Americans, according to the Real Clear Politics polling average, hold an unfavorable opinion of the president. Biden's unfavorable ratings don't mean much in Democratic citadels like California or New York, but they matter a great deal in Georgia, Ohio and Pennsylvania, where control of the Senate will be determined.

Consider this take from New York Times progressive writer Frank Bruni about last week's Herschel Walker-Raphael Warnock Senate debate in Georgia: "Rather than Warnock trying to make Walker answer for his alliance with the former president (Trump), Walker insisted that Warnock defend his with the current one – a dynamic that doesn’t exactly track with media coverage of the midterms. We keep wondering how much Trump will wound Republican candidates. Warnock seemed plenty worried about how much Biden would wound him."

This is a VERY good point.. If one looks at things logically and rationally, Warlock's association hurts WARLOCK a LOT more than Walker's association with President Trump hurts Walker..

President Trump is NOT causing all of America's problems..

Creepy Dementia Biden *IS* causing all of America's problems..

Creepy Dementia Biden hurts Warlock *A LOT* more than President Trump hurts Walker..

This is stone cold FACT...

Liz,

Hopefully you can read this objectively when you calm down..

Let's look at the 2 sides here..

What am *I* guilty of??

I am guilt of having a different political opinion than everyone else here.. I am guilty of defending that opinion with passion and aplomb.. And yes.. I am guilty of personal attacks of a political variety.. By that, I mean I say things like "Yer a moron for voting for Demonrats.." A personal attack, yes.. But a personal attack based on a POLITICAL point..

So.. THAT is what I am guilty of...

Now, let's see what Shit Husband Russ, Moron Vick and Dishonorable Discharge MC are guilty of..

THEY are guilty of gross and perverse PERSONAL personal attacks.. The don't attack my on my political views.. They attack me base on PERSONAL things.. They attack MY FAMILY... They attack my children... They drag things into real life by running background checks and having a spouse run an ILLEGAL background check... They dredge up flame wars and actions from YEARS ago and drag them into this forum..

And yes.. Once they started down that road, I defended myself and my family in the same manner..

So, when one looks at this with an OBJECTIVE eye, it's clear who is at fault here..

If their personal attacks would stop, then MY response to those personal attacks will stop... And POOOF... there goes 80% of the problem right there...

So, if you want to be pissy at someone for this mess, it's obvious WHO you should be pissy at..

As ALWAYS, I stand ready to do my part.. I have NEVER shirked that...

But you need to decide whether you are going to be objective and rational about things??

Or if you are going to be hysterical and emotional and make it all about political bigotry...

As I indicated above.. It's your call...

But I am not going anywhere, I can assure you of that..

:D

CRS,

Re "Oregon going red". Actually , most of Oregon is ALREADY red, it just happens to be the part that ain't got the people. Only the geography is red, not the mass of population.

Good point.. I spent some really fun years in Oregon.. :D

And yer right.. Oregon generally does lean very much Republican...

As with most of America, the Demonrats are concentrated into the big cities and, unfortunately exert strong influence over the majority..

And, even more unfortunately, Oregon is paying for that with it's out of control violent crime and Demonrat governance that has not clue one what they are doing..

That's why I was referring to when I said Oregon was going red..

The GOVERNANCE of Oregon is going red..

And I am betting that the MAJORITY of Oregon could NOT be more pleased. :D

And this comes from another Left Wing rag, USA TODAY...

Democrats are failing across the board. All signs point to a red wave on Election Day.

n 2016, I thought Hillary Clinton would win the presidency until late on election night. I was on live TV when Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin began to tilt red, and the shock became visible on the faces of the anchors and the crew in the studio. A Donald Trump victory wasn't in the script.

And yet, I predicted it dead on ballz accurately!! :D

In my defense, few in the chattering classes foresaw as Election Day approached what voters were about to wrought.

Ever since, I've declined to make predictions about who will or won't win an election.

That said, it is possible to read the trends ahead of an election to get a sense of what may happen. Let me stress the word may. And several important trends are leaning, in some cases quite heavily, in favor of Republicans. Let's look at seven key indicators:

?Joe Biden is unpopular.

?Inflation remains out of control.

?Interest rates also are soaring.

?Crime is on the rise.

?Economic issues overshadow abortion rights.

?Polls underestimate Republican support.

?The party in power pays.

History, the economy and other trends are working against Democrats. Will that result in a surging red tide come November? Probably.

But I don't make predictions.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/democrats-are-failing-across-the-board-all-signs-point-to-a-red-wave-on-election-day/ar-AA13aNQb?cvid=9849d9f6624844e5b6eb6d1458693be8

I don't have a problem with that.. :D

Yes, there will be a Red Tsunami that will sweep the Demonrats from power...

I would be open to ANY logical and rational rebuttal..

Unfortunately those are nearly impossible to come by here in Weigantia®.. :D

DON'T ARGUE WITH DONKEYS

The donkey said to the tiger:
- "The grass is blue".

The tiger replied:
- "No, the grass is green."

The discussion heated up, and the two decided to submit him to arbitration, and for this they went before the lion, the King of the Jungle.

Already before reaching the forest clearing, where the lion was sitting on his throne, the donkey began to shout:
- "His Highness, is it true that the grass is blue?".

The lion replied:
- "True, the grass is blue."

The donkey hurried and continued:
- "The tiger disagrees with me and contradicts and annoys me, please punish him."

The king then declared:
- "The tiger will be punished with 5 years of silence."

The donkey jumped cheerfully and went on his way, content and repeating:
- "The Grass Is Blue"...

The tiger accepted his punishment, but before he asked the lion:
- "Your Majesty, why have you punished me?, after all, the grass is green."

The lion replied:
- "In fact, the grass is green."

The tiger asked:
- "So why are you punishing me?".

The lion replied:
- "That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green.

The punishment is because it is not possible for a brave and intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with a donkey, and on top of that come and bother me with that question."

The worst waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who does not care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on arguments that don't make sense...

There are people who, no matter how much evidence and evidence we present to them, are not in the capacity to understand, and others are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and all they want is to be right even if they are not.

When ignorance screams, intelligence is silent. Your peace and quiet are worth more.

And THAT is why the Demonrat Party is represented by the Donkey... :D

Dr. Phil went on to suggest that educators cannot hide the political ideology that children are being taught in school from parents. "You can’t make a presumption that this child can’t take this information home."

Exactly... Why are Demonrats trying to hide all this from parents??

Because Demonrats KNOW that it is immoral and wrong..

THAT's why Demonrats try and hide this bullshit from parents..

"But the onus of that lies with the parents. They’re in control of the care and custody of their children, and my question to you is what makes you think you know better than a parent about what should happen to a child when they have a life-determining decision about whether they’re going to make a decision about gender or anything else? You have to call before you give them a Tylenol."
-Dr Phil

EXACTLY...

PARENTS raise their children.. As long as the parents are raising their OWN kids within the confines of what is legal, the school has NO SAY...

BUTT OUT, Demonrats!!!

Yer not going to groom America's young children...

Professor Jody Armour criticized Florida's Parental Rights in Education law as having a "chilling effect" on teachers, saying that it uses "vague and amorphous standards" to the point that "you don’t know if you’re gonna run afoul of them, you just avoid those conversations altogether."

EXACTLY!!! And THAT'S the goal..

To prevent Demonrat educators from grooming young kids to be open to perverse and degrading sexuality..

Kids should be allowed to have fun AS kids..

Not be saddled with a science-less and fact-less anti America ideology that any patriotic American would oppose...

"The policies in the state of Florida, and this is from her organization directly, from when I was on the school board. They have put procedures and policies in place in the state of Florida that not only don’t inform parents of these decisions being made about the safety of their children, they purposely deceive parents. This is very concerning to us, and this is one of the reasons that moms are so rallied behind this mission, they do not want to be deceived by teachers and school leaders."

Let me ask ya'all this??

If this type of crap is above board and legitimate then WHY do Demonrat educators HIDE this stuff from parents??

Because even the Demonrat educators KNOW that it's a load of garbage that children should NOT be exposed to at such a young age...

Dr. Phil asks woke educators: ‘What makes you think you know better’ than parents what’s best for kids?

Guests discussed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' Parental Rights in Education law

"National sex education standards right now for K-3 say that gender ideology - those children need to know by 3rd grade that you can be a boy or a girl, neither or both.

What a crock o' crap...

No, kids.. You CAN'T be both a boy and girl.. You have to be ONE or the OTHER..

This is called SCIENCE... Biology to be more exact...

You don't get to CHOOSE your gender any more than you get to choose whether you are a human or a wolf..

And ANYONE that tells kids different is a flaming moron and should be barred from being within 100 yards of any children...

I thought the core ideology of Trumpism was to extract as much money for personal gain as possible from all sources...

You make a very good point that would definitely fall under: "constant con/lying."

I could edit that to read "constant con/grifting, lying" if there was an edit feature.

CW

There is no actual core ideology of Trumpism, it mostly consists of his own spleen-venting.

The core ideology of Trumpism consists of:

* constant con/lying
* whining grievance/victimhood
* racial and xenophobic resentments

And the silent acquiescence of the cowardly Republicans to all of this seething hatred is deafening.

The threats of violence and then actual violence has become normalized in the GOP, and if the righties and right-leaning Americans can't recognize the duplicity of a con artist who would attempt to strong-arm his own vice president into unilaterally unconstitutionally and illegally recognizing the slates of fake electors he's assembled in order to overturn the will of the states and the majority of Americans in order to keep himself in power, knowing full well he lost the election, then there is little hope for them, their Party, or the democracy.

CW,

You are spot on as to what the Republicans will do if they retake the House or the Senate or both. And this, again, should be what Democrats are hammering the public with in their ads.

Republicans say that Biden is killing our economy... so what are they going to do legislatively to fix it for him? I've heard them complain about how Biden's policies are destroying everything, but not a single one of them said how they are going to fix it? Hunter Biden cannot fix the economy no matter how much they want to investigate him; so why prioritize him over it?

There have been a lot of articles pointing out that the January 6 Committee failed to convince the people of our nation how serious the evidence against Trump and his administration truly is. I hate to disagree, but the Committee did their job just fine. The American people know that Trump is a criminal. They have known it since before he was elected. We, the People, could not believe that he was permitted to openly commit crimes while he was the President... protected by Republicans who made it clear that party came before the Constitution. Many of us believed that when he was voted out of office, Trump would finally be held accountable. We waited for Biden to be sworn into office so that justice could finally happen and Trump would be prosecuted for his numerous crimes. And we waited. And then we waited more. I've had Republican friends tell me that they believe that Trump must be innocent because he would have already been arrested if he'd done everything they claim he has done. Tough to argue with that logic.

The January 6 Committee did a great job. But they could never do what we needed them to be able to do... hold any of those involved in the failed insurrection accountable for their actions. It is a mistake to avoid indicting Trump and his co-conspirators because people will claim it was done for political reasons just before the elections. All I know is that if there are not mass arrests and indictments filed minutes after the last polling places close in Hawaii, Garland is making his huge mistake even worse.

And once again, the chances of the Demonrats keeping the Senate continues to shrink..

Democrats are slightly favored to win the Senate
The Deluxe version of our model simulates the election 40,000 times to see which party wins the Senate most often. This sample of 100 outcomes gives you an idea of the range of scenarios the model considers possible.

A month ago, the chances were like 78%!!! :D

Left-wing criminal-justice policies aimed at elevating blacks have instead devastated collective efficacy in their communities. They did so by removing consequences for criminals, emboldening them to commit more crimes while dissolving community trust. No longer deterred or incapacitated by law enforcement, a new and growing cohort of offenders is making it much harder for neighbors in black communities to trust one another, to step in when they see a problem, and to marshal the social capital that is the bedrock of collective efficacy.

This is especially true because crime is a hyper-local phenomenon, as criminologist David Weisburd has shown. In New York City, for instance, about 1 percent of streets produce about 25 percent of crime, and about 5 percent of streets produce about 50 percent of crime. When policies release dangerous people back into the public, it is among the residents of these concentrated streets—many in black neighborhoods—where the sense of security frays.

The facts are clear..

Demonrats are NO friends of black Americans...

Since 2019, shootings in New York more than doubled and murders have risen by 30 percent. And though only one-fifth of city residents are black, they account for more than 72 percent of shooting victims and 67 percent of murder victims. Black New Yorkers are the victims of rape and felonious assault at more than twice their proportion of the population; 69 percent of shooting suspects, 63.9 percent of murder suspects, 64 percent of robbery suspects, and 58 percent of violent crime suspects are black. This disproportionality is reflected in nationwide statistics, where blacks represent around 13 percent of U.S. residents but more than half of identified homicide victims—and this disparity is growing.

Why are Demonrats so intent on destroying black American communities???

Smart of you to make it so they had to solve a word problem to get your address. Keeps it from showing up if someone just Googles your address... a great way to tell them without directly telling them. I always thought Kuckold husbands were a made up thing... but here you are!
Following a host of criminal-justice reforms that shrunk policing capabilities and constricted consistent and effective prosecution, however, black communities’ social capital has broken down, with blacks bearing the brunt of rising violence. Bail reform, a leading example of these misguided ideas, has been a key plank of the Democratic platform on criminal justice in recent years, from Chicago to Memphis and beyond. The resulting policies, as with New York’s 2020 bail laws, have kept judges from jailing dangerous offenders pretrial, leading to their reoffending at staggering rates. New York’s 2017 Raise the Age law indiscriminately removed consequences for 16- and 17-year-olds, returning them, gun arrest after gun arrest, to the streets and public schools where their presence has escalated tit-for-tat gang violence and terrified students trying to learn. Decriminalization of low-level offenses in major American cities has rapidly degraded certain streets—much of New York City’s Harlem, for example—from peaceful to seedy and unpredictable.

On WHAT planet does it make sense to eliminate bail for violent criminals??

Only a MORON would believe that violent criminals would be SOOOO grateful for no bail that they would cease being violent criminals...

Can ANYONE here explain to me the logic of Demonrats' NO BAIL policies??

Anyone?? Anyone??? Beuhler??

Strong social capital—broadly analogous to collective efficacy—is a big reason for the perceived societal advantages of white, Asian, and, perhaps most visibly of all in New York, Jewish communities. At exceptional rates, Jews tend to step in when they see community problems, providing privately funded ambulances for the sick and food delivery for the elderly, for example. They approach crime the same way.

In New York, the Chasidim in Crown Heights have the Shomrim, a decades-old volunteer neighborhood watch. Similarly, all Jewish institutions in the Greater New York City area benefit from the UJA–Federation/JCRC–NY’s Community Security Initiative, which offers everything from advice on physical security systems to help in applying for federal security grants. American synagogues and Jewish schools spend member dues on professional security guards and forge relationships with local police precincts. Facing a 24 percent increase in anti-Semitic incidents statewide—with 51 assaults in New York City alone—Jewish federations and their local chapters are providing $130 million for a new nationwide security initiative. All this is a manifestation of collective efficacy, which complements police efforts.

No wonder Demonrats hate the Jewish communities and are so anti-semitic.. :^/

OK Now let's get back to the DEFUND DEMONIZE DEMORALIZE THE POLICE and HATE COPS policies of the Demonrat Party...

The Left Faces a Reckoning on Criminal Justice

Progressive reforms have devastated mutual trust in black communities.
https://www.city-journal.org/the-left-faces-a-reckoning-on-criminal-justice

Demonrat's HATE COPS policies are, ostensibly to help black American communities..

Ironically enough, it's those black American communities that are facing the BIGGEST threat from Demonrats and their HATE COPS policies..

Get that?? The people Demonrats CLAIM to want to help are the people most getting hurt by these policies..

Leave it to Demonrats to address a problem with actions that make the problems a hundred times worse!!

Now let me update everyone on the new Quantum Leap..

VERY good show with a couple minor flaws..

On the PLUS side I LOVE they way the integrated the old series into the new show... Not as good as COBRA KAI did, but still pretty awesome..

AL (Admiral Calavicci) features prominently and they even had Al's old handlink!! That was a touch of genius!!!

The fans of the old Quantum Leap were VERY disappointed when the series left Dr Beckett in limbo..

I am betting that the first season of the new QL will address that and bring Sam Beckett home.. :D

Now the bad...

Get RID of that moron "binary" woke token, Ian... Such a person with OBVIOUS mental health issues would NEVER be working on such a high end classified program as Quantum Leap...

I mean, the character is nothing but a rehash of Cpl Max Klinger from MASH... :eyeroll: Lose the confused woke idjut...

The other bad thing is that the new QL totally destroyed the canon of the old QL...

In the old QL, when Sam leaps into a person in the past, Sam's body is actually still in the imaging chamber in 1999.... The consciousness from the person Sam leaps into is put in Sam's 1999 body...

The new QL totally ignored this fact of Quantum Leap..

So, this begs the questions..

WHERE is Ben Soong's body???

WHERE does the leaped into person's consciousness go to when Ben is occupying their body??

These points NEED to be addressed if the new QL is going to succeed...

And get rid of the confused woke token!!!

Biden has made popular moves in other areas, but student debt and marijuana will not bring enough new people to the polls. Fifty-eight percent of voters in the Harris Poll support his plan to cancel student debt, and 67% support his plan to pardon marijuana possession, but they are not translating to more support for the party. More voters say both these plans make them more likely to vote Republican rather than Democratic because the voters who oppose them are more energized. When it comes to student debt, for example, those who think they’re going to have to pay for other people’s relief are more motivated to vote than those getting the relief.

What kind of dementia-ridden moron would believe that pot and baby killing would bring NEW voters over to the Demonrat way of thinking!!??

I mean, that takes some SERIOUSLY muddled and delusional thinking to believe that, eh!?? :D

Com'on, people.. At least a COUPLE of ya'all DO have the capability to critically analyze the data and come to a logical and rational conclusion...

Put yer thinking caps on and point out any flaw in my assessment... :D

I double dog dare you.. :D

Americans’ anxiety around the economy looks devastating for the party in power. 84% of voters think the US is in a recession now or will be by next year. An astounding 57% of Americans think their personal financial situation is worsening. Even during most of the pandemic, only 20-30% said the same.

Voters also blame Biden for these troubles. Fifty-five percnet of voters blame Biden for inflation, including 42% of Democrats. Unlike unemployment, which affects a sliver of the population, inflation affects all Americans, and they can easily see the effect on gas prices and grocery bills. The situation will only worsen as OPEC+’s cut in oil production goes into effect, and the Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates yet again.

The Democrats are also avoiding confronting the other major issues, crime and immigration. Two-thirds of Americans think crime is rising, and 60% blame "woke politicians" for causing it.

WOW.. The overwhelming facts lead to one conclusion and one conclusion only... :D

Demonrats are toast...

I challenge ANYONE here to argue against this fact..

This growing unpopularity of President Joe Biden’s policies has been clear now for over a year and so the administration could have made a pivot, but instead it doubled down, even denying the issues around inflation ("zero inflation") and the border ("no crisis") existed at all.

Awww right.. Let's get back to it.. :D

Let's hear from a dyed-in-the-wool Demonrat... :D

Democrats oblivious to rising tide of unhappy voters may be shocked by Republican midterm wins

Inflation, crime and immigration drive frustration as Democrats disconnected to key voter concerns

The Republicans are edging closer to a wave election. They are finally connecting with voters on the issues they care most about – inflation, crime and immigration – while Democrats are essentially fighting a shadow midterm on issues voters care less about. Americans aren’t necessarily acting out of partisanship; they’re venting their frustration with the poor economic fundamentals and the threatened recession.

In the summer there was lot of speculation that the incumbent party could defy midterms history and escape a big loss, and I was puzzled by the large segment of Democratic voters who disapproved of President Joe Biden and yet were sticking with the Democratic Party in the midterms. That is beginning to crack now, especially when we look at likely voters which are breaking 53/47 in favor of the Republicans now.

On inflation, crime and immigration, Republicans are channeling voters’ anxiety and frustration. In the Oct. 12-13 Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, voters said those three issues were their greatest concern, and they were over 10 percentage points more likely to vote Republican than Democratic based on each. Among likely voters, that pro-GOP gap increases to 15 percentage points.

The majority of both elite and ordinary Saudis share my affection for America and Americans, and wish neither Democrats nor Republicans ill. We need each other now, as we have ever since 1945, when Franklin Roosevelt and King Abdulaziz began the relationship that shaped so many of the years since. But if a party, any party, in power in the United States not only explicitly threatens Saudi Arabia, but makes good on many of its threats, Riyadh does not have much of a choice in how to react. Like any other country on the planet, it must protect its own people and its own national interests.

American allies in the region are witnessing the unraveling of a post-Soviet world order that they helped America build. As the White House doubles down on regional and global policies that are hastening that unraveling, stakeholders the world over are rightly reassessing their own security interests as America’s partners.

Awesome job, Demonrats!!! :eyeroll:

There is also the matter of the administration’s hypocrisy. It is one thing to advocate for the elimination of fossil fuels and the expulsion of Putin’s Russia from global energy markets; it is quite another thing to do so while continuing to purchase Russian energy yourself. In April of 2022, over a month after the war started and after Western sanctions had already been passed, the United States imported more Russian oil than any month on record. Last week, the Financial Times reported that “EU countries have paid more than 100 billion euros to Russia for fossil fuels since the invasion of Ukraine.” All during this period, the administration has publicly berated Saudi Arabia, Israel, and other U.S. allies in the Gulf for not doing enough against Russia. This performance is not convincing to anyone: not to Saudis, Israelis, Emiratis, Indians, Russians, or Ukrainians. Judging by certain opinion polls, it is not convincing to many Americans, either.

Creepy Dementia Biden is actually FUNDING Putin's war against Ukraine..

Another impeachable offense...

It was the Obama administration that decided to give Vladimir Putin a foothold in the eastern Mediterranean, which it sold to the American people as a way to “deescalate” the civil war in Syria. As the United States romanced Putin, offering him Crimea and warm water ports in Syria in exchange for pulling Iran’s irons out of the fire over the past decade, U.S. allies like Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, and Israel have had no choice but to cope. Last month, while Russian-operated Iranian drones and missiles were pounding Kyiv, Riyadh used its diplomatic leverage to obtain the release of American and British POWs from Putin.

America saddled us with the reality of a neighboring country controlled by Iranian troops and the Russian air force. Worse, as part of its Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Obama administration sent tens of billions of dollars flowing into Iranian coffers—money that was used to demolish Iraq, crush Syria, create chaos in Lebanon, and threaten Saudi territory from Yemen. Iranian rocket and drone strikes on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia are now routine. In response to the barrage of missiles on Saudi infrastructure last year, the Biden administration withdrew U.S. missile defense batteries from Saudi territory.

Look at the mess Odumbo, Creepy Dementia Biden and Demonrats have created...

Thank the gods, the GOP and President Trump will swoop in and save the day!! :D

How to Lose Friends and Influence Over People

A decade of Obama-Biden foreign policy has broken the Middle East and America’s security order

Americans have a reputation, with others and in their own national literature, for being careless and breaking things. Often this is because they are so admirably creative, dynamic, and unattached to the past. But for the last two decades, the epicenter of American carelessness has been the Middle East, an area of the world that seems to encourage fantasies among all Westerners, yet where real-world margins for error are small. The result has been a series of disasters for the peoples of the region and for American prestige. This week brought what looks like another unforced error in policymaking, fed by hubris, fantasy, airy talk, and a refusal to acknowledge reality.

On Tuesday, White House national security spokesman John Kirby announced that President Joe Biden will be reevaluating America’s relationship with Saudi Arabia after OPEC+ announced the previous week that it would cut oil production. Kirby’s announcement followed a statement by Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., claiming that Saudi Arabia is helping to “underwrite Putin’s war” through OPEC+. “As Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,” Menendez said, “I will not green-light any cooperation with Riyadh until the Kingdom reassesses its position with respect to the war in Ukraine.”

As a Saudi who loves the United States, and believes deeply that our two countries need each other, the only word that comes to mind regarding the contemporary “reevaluation” of our relations is: obscene.

Stunning data from a New York Times/Siena poll find the majority of registered voters believe the media is a "threat" to democracy.

The poll details released Tuesday showed that a whopping 71% of the 792 registered voters questioned say "American democracy is currently under threat."

Among those who fear for democracy, 84% of them, or roughly 60% of all registered voters, view "mainstream media" as some sort of threat. A majority, 59%, call the media a "major threat to democracy" while an additional 25% call it a "minor threat to democracy." Only 15% who say democracy is under threat do not blame the media.

WOW!!! And THAT comes for a LEFT WING rag poll...

Crazy, eh?? :D

Will Democrats Lose the West?

Republicans are running even in crucial races across the
Throughout much of the West, Democrats are floundering in key races they should not be having to fight to win.

Take Nevada, where Senator Catherine Cortez Masto should have been able to build on Harry Reid’s legendary political machine, and ought to have been able to marshal rock-solid union support in Las Vegas, to put away her challenger, the election-denying Adam Laxalt, months ago. Instead, with just weeks to go until the election, they’re in a dead heat, and Masto is the Democrats’ most vulnerable senator in the country. It’s also possible that an election-denying Republican will win the Nevada governorship as well. Polls show incumbent Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak and GOP Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo running even, and the state’s three Democratic members of Congress are also in tough reelection fights.

Nevada was hit particularly hard by Covid lockdowns, and the state’s tourism-based economy has not yet fully rebounded. The unemployment rate in Las Vegas, the epicenter of Democratic support in the state, remains at nearly 6 percent, and inflation throughout the southwest and mountain west remains far higher than the national average; between January 2021 and the summer of 2022, prices in Nevada increased by over 15 percent. And, rightly or wrongly, Democrats are blamed for these soaring prices.

Biden administration funds studies on danger of transgender hormonal treatments even as it pushes them on kids

Many adverse effects are being investigated, and much is unknown about the potential consequences

The Biden administration has been promoting puberty blocker and hormone therapy treatment drugs for transgender children even as it spent roughly $17 million on studies to analyze the dangers and uncertainties of the drugs.

The National Institutes of Health is funding nearly 30 studies on medical concerns for transgender people after hormone therapy, such as increased cardiovascular risks, weakened ability to fight sexually transmitted infections, higher levels of HIV and infertility. Several of these concerns are identified in NIH-funded studies on transgender youth.

One of these studies that began last year declares puberty blockers "have not been systematically studied." Another study on hormone treatment for adolescents states there is "little to no empirical data guiding clinical practices."

Get that?? Creepy Dementia Biden and the Demonrats are pushing mutilating surgeries and experimental drugs on kids while investigating if those procedures are even SAFE!!????

Yunno.. It's common for the investigation of complications and side effects to take place FIRST...

THEN advocate for them if they prove to be safe..

As usual, Demonrat priorities are back asswards.. :^/

Which proves that Demonrats don't really care about children.. They will push their agenda over the dead bodies of children if necessary.. :eyeroll:

That’s why last week, during his first post-stroke interview, Fetterman required “a large computer screen with closed captioning” to understand what NBC correspondent Dasha Burns was asking. “In small talk before my interview,” Burns said afterward, “it wasn’t clear he understood what I was saying.”

Fetterman’s wife, former illegal alien and current “de facto candidate,” Gisele Barreto Fetterman, demanded to know: “What is being done at the media after a reporter came out so openly ableist towards a person?”

By the way, that “de facto candidate” line came from a very friendly profile of Barreto by Rolling Stone’s Kara Vough that focused in part on her husband’s “lingering stroke symptoms.”

I guess “de facto candidate” was supposed to be one of those “You go, girl!” moments, but it came across more like, “Seriously, just how bad is your husband’s condition?”

That’s more evidence, on top of Chen’s letter, that Fetterman has been at least somewhat disabled by his stroke.

Fraydeeman is disabled.. This is FACT that no amount of Demonrat spin will change...

Being disabled, in and of itself, is not disqualifying.. It's the TYPE of disability that is important here..

Fraydeeman cannot comprehend words or sentences.. His brain cannot process the auditory content..

That's a statement of fact, not a slam or spin...

Fraydeeman's disability prevents him from being a viable US Senator..

I am sure the Demonrat plan is to replace Fraydeeman if he somehow manages to win the election..

Which isn't really a concern because Fraydeeman simply cannot win..

Looks like Fraydeeman finally released his "medical records"... NOT..

Fetterman Finally Releases 'Medical Record' (But You Won't Believe What It Really Is)

There’s just one problem: that isn’t his medical record.

Actually, there are at least a couple more problems, but we’ll get to those in a sec.

The first and most obvious problem is… those are not his medical records, and you’d have to be a fool or a member of the press to believe they are. But I repeat myself. What the campaign released — here, in PDF form — is a one-page letter from Fetterman’s primary physician, Dr. Clifford Chen of Pittsburgh’s UPMC.

It’s basically a doctor’s note assuring voters that although he’s been sick, little Johnny can come to class today.

Yea.. Fraydeeman is capable of being in the US Senate... :eyeroll:

Do ya'all HONESTLY believe the Pennsylvanians will WANT a disabled guy who can't understand words and sentences to represent them in the Senate???

HONESTLY!??

The typical U.S. household is spending $445 more a month due to inflation.

Inflation is causing American households to spend $445 more per month buying the same items they did a year ago, according to an estimate from Moody’s Analytics.

Consumer prices jumped by 8.2% in September versus the same month in 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said Thursday. That rate is down from 9.1% in June, which marked the recent peak, but is still near the highest levels since the early 1980s.

Wages for many workers haven’t kept pace with inflation, meaning they’ve lost purchasing power. Hourly earnings fell 3%, on average, in the year to September after accounting for inflation, according to the bureau.

Stacey Abrams is still an election denier

Stacey Abrams, in the gubernatorial debate Monday night, signaled that once again she will not concede if she loses.

“In 2018, you didn’t concede defeat to Gov. Kemp,” the moderator began, “and you talked of systemic problems with the state’s election system. This election, do you commit to accept the outcome of the vote, regardless of what it shows, and do you stand by your use of words like ‘rigged’ four years ago to describe the state’s election system?”

The Georgia Democrat began her answer Monday saying that “in 2018 I began my speech on Nov. 16 acknowledging that Gov. Kemp had won the election.”

That’s false. Watch her speech here. Abrams “began” her 12-minute speech in 2018 with more than four minutes of complaining about how “democracy failed Georgia” and gripes about “misinformation.”

After four-plus minutes of objections, Abrams said, “I acknowledge that former Secretary of State Brian Kemp will be certified as the victor in the 2018 gubernatorial election.” That’s not an admission that he won — and she underscored that when she added, “Let’s be clear, this is not a speech of concession. … My assessment is the law currently allows no further viable remedy.”

Funny...

When ya'all slam and attack President Trump about the 2020 election, you completely ignore when yer own Demonrat does the EXACT same thing as ya'all accuse President Trump of..

Why is that???
