Heh. UCSC has always waged a rearguard action against the 4/20 celebration, but things have calmed down considerably since legalization was approved by the voters. One difference between marijuana supporters and other movements is the lack of mass marches. Instead we have the rapidly approaching 4/20.

One of my kids goes to UC Santa Cruz, an older one graduated from there a few years ago. Both times we planned a visit (beautiful campus - it is like the World's largest tree house), and late April is "campus visit season".
