Stan -

If ever there was a perfect case for a do-over, it seems to be MI and FL this year....

I also think that there should be a second vote in Florida and Michigan but given past events and attitudes about do-overs I am not confident that it will happen.

benskull -

Thanks for the link!

Michale -

I agree, if they don't re-vote than their delegates should not be seated. And I would say that no matter who they had voted for.

Geez... is it possible all three of us agree on this? Wow... must be a strange alignment of the stars or something!

I completely agree..

The votes from FL and MI are important enough to warrant a "do over"...

BUT....

I am also of the mind that, if no "do over" is authorized, then those votes should not count, no way, no how...

Actually, it affects me personally not at all, as I am not allowed to vote in the primaries... waaaa waaaa

AMEN!!!! Just read a post on Huff about this too. I'm getting hot about this super-delegate situation, and of course the discussion about Florida and Michigan. I am in FL, and I absolutely agree that there is no way to count these votes unless another contest occurred with campaigning and both candidates on the ballot. It would be beyond ridiculous and insane to award Michigan without having all but one candidate on the ballot. I would vomit. Seriously. The DNC will hurt their party if they are not responsible in these two situations. I contacted them at this link to let them know how I feel.

[Note from CW: This post was edited to change the link. My comments-handling software isn't very link-friendly, I apologize. Nothing else about this comment was edited.]
