Since we've had quite a number of very contentious columns for the past few weeks, I thought we could all use a break, so that I may present a totally and utterly self-serving column.
We are back at home base, as is the car... to which I can only respond: "don't ask."
I apologize for the interruption in our normal column service, and promise everyone that a Wednesday column will appear at least pretty close to normal posting time.

Tea doesn't get much respect in America. This historical snubbing will continue Wednesday, with protests across America meant to evoke the Boston Tea Party, a seminal event in the foundation of our county. How effective these protests will be is going to be open to interpretation, however.

This is really nothing more than a glorified "Program Note," just to warn everyone. The wife's car, which she totally depends on, had its own blowout two days ago. Yesterday, many hours were spent diagnosing the leak. Today, many hours were spent beneath the engine of the car, actually fixing the leak.
New ads are coming. They're likely going to be annoying. Sorry about that, but I feel it's better to take the advertisers' money than to beg for donations, personally.
