News had also surfaced regarding Hong's social media posts to cancel Thanksgiving because "colonialism" and numerous posts on Xitter wherein she criticized Christmas, Valentine's Day and the Fourth of July. With Hong's double-digit lead in the polls, the GOP couldn't contain its glee and began celebrating and getting out their tape measures to order new drapes. Hong didn't immediately disavow the holiday hatred posts, and the voters saw the handwriting on the wall-- Korean Communist Could Cancel Christmas -- and they therefore coalesced around Crowley, albeit barely.

Looking on the bright side: Sanders, Warren and AOC apparently seem to know when to endorse and when to remain silent. Just saying.
