Possible 9 range. But the actual fault is way off shore and deep under the ocean. I read a study that indicated most of Portland is far enough inland that we will barely feel the quake but it will last for 5 minutes. Even light shaking for 5 minutes will annihilate un-reinforced masonry to which there is way too much still to be reinforced as it is only a recently the danger was understood...
