Graham was extremely vocal with his dislike of all things related to Trump early on. It wasn’t until Russian hackers cracked the RNC mail servers that Graham had a sudden and drastic change in his opinion of Trump. The type change that you’d expect to see if someone is being blackmailed with life-threatening and career-ending consequences.

My fondest memory of Graham will always be his speaking on the Senate floor on January 6, 2021, as Trump’s insurrection was playing out. As he called out Trump for leading the criminal act, Graham was the only senator who didn’t appear horrified by Trump’s actions. Graham looked and sounded downright GIDDY as he spoke of Trump’s crimes! He was finally rid of Trump, and Graham could not have been happier! Lindsey was sure that he would never be forced to kiss Trump’s flabby ass again. It was like witnessing someone who’d been forced into slavery learning that they were free! It was the happiest I had ever seen Graham.
