That "monument to tastelessness" has a name, you know; it's referred to as the "Whore House Ballroom."

In July 2025 when Trump volunteered without being asked that he wasn't tearing down the East Wing and referred to it as his "favorite," that was a giant honking clue that he had planned for its demolition.

Following the tearing down of the East Wing, Trump defended its destruction in an interview on Fox News and admitted he could have built the ballroom around it but decided to demolish it because it "looked like hell."

Nice of Trump to admit publicly and on camera to destruction of property of the United States and the premeditated lies to the public that he had already planned; add that confession and the written contract allocating taxpayer funds for the premeditated destruction of the East Wing, and I'd say it's at the very least an easy charge of felony fraud... obviously not the 34-time convict's first fraud proven with tangible evidence. Easy indictment of multiple counts by a DC grand jury.

Oh, and also to restore the former East Wing, and to relandscape the White House grounds, and to redecorate the White House rooms to their pre-Trump appearance. At whatever the cost."

The irony of the progressive party promising to restore the past and uphold tradition is delicious.

People who still support the president's policies and actions at this point will not listen to or accept any ads "lying" about the cost of the ballroom and its fiscal sources.

Everyone else already hates the project, hates the lies, and hates - hates - hates the president behind these things.

Now, I know I'm going to vote for the Democrat anyway. But I sure do wish that the party's platform will include the above - very moderate, very worthwhile, very affordable - restitutions of the nation's pride and character.
