Some of the uranium used in "Little Boy" dropped on Hiroshima was only 50% uranium-235; however, most of it was enriched to about 89%, and therefore the average enrichment was estimated to be 80% to mid-80s. Obviously, it would take a lot more of the 60% enriched variety to make a nuclear weapon, but it's absolutely possible to do it with 60%. Optimal? No. Possible? Absolutely.

That half-ton of uranium gas (what Trump idiotically refers to as "nuclear dust") that is currently buried under a whole bunch of rubble in Iran has been enriched to 60 percent -- only one technical step away from reaching bomb-grade strength.

It's already bomb-grade strength; however, a weapon designed with 60% HEU would be less efficient and definitely larger.

So, to recap: While higher-grade highly enriched uranium is generally required to make a nuclear warhead that would be light enough to deliver via ICBM, 60% HEU can definitely be used to create a crude nuclear weapon. True facts.

That so-called "deal" turns out to be more like the "total surrender" (his words) that POTUS had promised; however, Trump is the one surrendering. Read the agreement; it's an oil/commodities deal to keep the economy from cratering and not much more, leaving loads of issues to hammer out in only 60 days. It's absolute garbage.
