Honestly, Cornyn's position is still fairly weak. A 4-term Senator who cannot garner 50% of the voters in a Texas primary, having secured a "commanding lead" of about 1% over his "greatest" opponent is about as weak as it gets heading into a runoff in Texas... <b>where incumbents go to die</b>, generally speaking, of course. Be that as it may and still, there is time and millions and millions of dollars to spend. It appears Cornyn will attempt to paint Paxton as a wife-cheating felonious fraud... in other words: Totally Trumpian.
