Okay, besides Little Marco can you remember any out-of-power party’s response? I’ll wait.

You mean you don't remember the insane/crazy speech of Katie Britt delivered from her creepy kitchen? You don't remember Joni (we're all gonna die) Ernst and her dang bread sacks speech? You don't remember Piyush "Bobby" Jindal's speech containing the very good advice to the GOP: "We must stop being the stupid party." It appears the Guardians Of Pedophiles definitely has forgotten that one.

And as Spanberger didn’t shape shift back into the lizard person she secretly is, parsing her speech is a waste of time — unless one holds Trump to the same standard. I’ll wait for that, too.

How long you willing to wait... because I could definitely parse Dotard Donald's speech until the cow's come home. Heh. *grin*

That was a huge relief, after spending almost two solid hours listening to Trump flap his gums.

I can't unsee that.

Spanberger gave her speech in a historic location: the Williamsburg House of Burgesses chamber, where in 1776 the Virginia Declaration of Rights was passed (which later became the blueprint for the national Bill of Rights).

That Williamsburg House of Burgesses chamber of 1776 actually burned down in 1832 and was a (architecturally different) building that was constructed to replace the original Capitol building that was destroyed by fire in 1747. However, the building where Spanberger gave her speech that stands in that location now was built in 1934 and is a restoration based on records from the 18th century of the original Capitol building completed in 1705 and destroyed by fire in 1747.

However, her speaking to a very small crowd of supporters was distracting, as they burst into pre-planned applause at certain points during the speech. It probably would have been better to just speak in an empty chamber, surrounded by just the history of the room.

The history of "the room" is somewhat complicated as it is a reconstruction/reproduction of the original Capitol building completed in 1705 and not the actual room (or building) where Mason, Madison, Jefferson, et alia voted in 1776 to adopt the Virginia Declaration of Rights.

Having been in that reconstructed room, I can report it is awesome, and anyone who loves history should definitely visit Colonial Williamsburg and the old buildings there that are insanely historical and like traveling back in time. :)

it might be more helpful to hire some stand-up comics to answer donald's talking points. the jokes practically write themselves, and in this political climate entertainment value matters. Donald certainly isn't the entertainer he was eight years ago, but the Dems are downright atrocious at it.
