The first entry seemed inevitable, for anyone who has heard the cries of gleeful inanity this phrase sparks in the young folk of today. No, I am not going to explain it (it is largely meaningless, and falls into the category of "things young folk say to bewilder and annoy their elders").

I was recently in a group of adults who had the occasion for a few teenagers to use that term in our presence and giggle like little imps that we didn't know what it meant. Me being me, of course, I giggled right back in their general direction and said something along the lines (paraphrasing myself):

I suspect y'all wouldn't be laughing half as hard as all that if you knew that six seven is actually full retirement age; although, not likely for you because I'm highly suspicious they're going to have to raise that to something like seven six for y'all... so you best get your jollies while you still can because you'll all be working for about three quarters of a century before you can collect on those wages they're withholding from your little paychecks.

~ Kick

Then we all fell out laughing... except the kids.

Since I first heard someone use that term, I've been waiting for somebody/anybody to state the obvious that 67 is full retirement age (at the present time) and likely to rise... so the joke's indubitably on them. :)

It's not regime change, it's the Donroe doctrine: He will keep attacking western hemisphere countries until we stop hassling him about the Epstein files...

Fun stuff.

I tried to look up exactly why 'demure' and '6-7' have taken on new and (per the LSSU team) unacceptable meanings these days. I failed. Neither Google search yielded anything that made sense to me.
I remain comfy in my aging boomer ghetto, media-wise. Time for my cookie?

Happy New Year to Chris, and to all of the Weigantia fan base!
