so, just for example, they might rule that the president by the act of deporting a child and its parents, can make someone no longer "subject to the jurisdiction" of the USA and therefore no longer a citizen. of course it's insane, but do you believe for a second that they wouldn't do it solely for that reason?

As it turns out, the Trump administration and their bleating sheeple are currently concurrently arguing that people born in America somehow aren't "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States" while Venezuela's Maduro definitely is "subject to the jurisdiction." Thus, my answer to your question is: Yes, it's insane.

It's particularly hysterical to witness the regurgitating rubes being unable to connect the dots on their own hypocrisy. When you attempt to help them reconcile their doublespeak and obvious conflicting confusion, they will just generally deflect to their knee-jerk argument regarding anyone deigns to disagree with them as having "Trump Derangement Syndrome," an entirely invented fake thing, which is definitely so much easier than any of them actually having to think but is obviously definitely particularly useful for the majority of them that do not have the ability to reason.

Help... the text of the 14th Amendment is unambiguous and transparently clear, so what other way is there? Different classes of those born in the United States based on where their parents were born and not based at all on where they are born?

@kick,

as I'm sure you are well aware, this administration is pretty consistent on their legal team's assertions that the Constitution means something absurdly different from its current settled-law meaning, and this scotus has been quite compliant in validating those assertions.

My thought is that if this is year one, and Trump's penchant is for trying to shock the public, how much more can he do?
