I think part of the reason this has gone largely unnoticed is because donald is so quick to claim credit for massive success, even when there is practically none. however, in this case he has made some real headway in an incredibly difficult situation. ever heard of the armenian genocide of 1915? possibly over a million dead, and referenced specifically by adolf hitler as a reason to go forward with the holocaust. that is how long and deep this goes, and they have been fighting for at least the last thirty years. in his mad dash for peace prizes, donald very well may have crafted a gem of a foreign policy achievement. the middle east really does seem to be his sweet spot. I relived momentarily many the "sinking stomach" moments of the year as well as the (vanishingly few) "green shoots of hope" I won't agree with 100% of CW's choices of 'winner', but they're almost all worthy of consideration. Kudos to nypoet22 and Kick for thinking outside the box! Looking forward to next week's column!
