Good question. Another question I would like to hear answered is why the conspiracy theory Fox Newsian group was hysterically patting themselves on the back for finding the perp while blaming the Biden administration for not and taking credit for something that none of them solved. The federal employees/agents assigned to work on this didn't magically abandon it and aren't motivated by political issues in doing their meticulous work in order to solve it.

The right-wingnut conspiracy theorists of Pirro, Bongino, and Keystone Kash had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with actually solving the case. Not surprisingly, the perp who committed the crime is a right-wingnut and MAGA gullible rube who fell for the conspiracy BS that they and their right-wingnut ilk were spewing and not the government insider they claimed repeatedly.

It's hysterical to watch these Fox Newsian conspiracy nutjobs attempting to take credit for cornering the perp who bought into the BS they were spewing and who acted on it... not unlike the other thousands of rubes that were pardoned for their violent crimes. So not the government "insider" they claimed, but it does appear the perp was one of their Fox News "insiders" who fell for the "stolen election" narrative for which Fox has already paid near a billion dollars to settle the spewing of the lies and for which Trump is still being sued by multiple police officers for his role in causing the physical harm inflicted by the multiple gullible perps who fell for Trump's Big Lie that was pushed by the Fox News talking heads.

So, to recap: What was the perp's motive? He bought into your right-wingnut conspiracy bullshit and then acted on it. Be sure to include that in your indictment; that'll make for an interesting trial.
