Coffee prices have skyrocketed this year, but Trump will deserve exactly zero credit for "fixing" the problem. He's like a guy who sets fire to your house and then puts it out and wants to be congratulated for dousing the fire -- that he himself lit. Trump is like the juvenile delinquent who fatally wounded his mother and father and petitioned the Court for leniency because he was recently orphaned.

As pointed out by Lawrence O'Donnell, 3 of those Dems had already been voting with the GOP, so 5 changed position. I don't know if it was the right decision or not. It did seem like the GOP was willing to inflict a lot of pain. Las Vegas is dependent on air travel, so that explains the two NV senators' votes and Kaine represents a lot of federal workers who were not getting paid.
