I was not impressed that he thanked Terd Cruz. TC said he didn't like mobster threats, but he was thrilled with the results. Most importantly, he didn't say he would do anything about it. He's just full of shit as usual.

Republicans have a long-proven history of ignoring issues until it affects them personally. I could give numerous examples of this, but I don't see a need (at the present time) to do so.

Ted Cruz obviously was thinking more about himself than anyone else regarding this issue: His own free speech.

He was somehow able to squeeze Colbert out of CBS. Then he turned his sights on me. And now he's openly rooting for NBC to fire Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers and the hundreds of Americans who work for their shows who don't make millions of dollars. And I hope that if that happens or if there's even any hint of that happening, you will be 10 times as loud as you were this week. We have to speak out against this, because he's not stopping.

~ Jimmy Kimmel

Kimmel is dead-on accurate about this, as Trump is now threatening to fire federal employees if Democrats do not roll over, fall in line and vote for the GOP continuing resolution. The cruelty is the thing with Trump and the GOP; they do not care whom they hurt.

I was not touched deeply by the grieving widow "forgiving" the murderer. She's just another cancervative xian saying the magic words. They don't believe that they have to believe the words, just say them. They like to say that they don't have to be perfect, just forgiven. They can be wretched as long as they say those magic words. She won't disappoint.

I have to admit that I didn't even know the name of Kimmel's show before watching this.

I don't think I watched that show even once prior to this episode. something Jim Kimmel and Chuck Kirk have in common.
