Trump's got nothing against fake news; he literally has been convicted of 34 felonies because of his multiple instances of using fake news and fraudulent records in a coverup.

Nothing new here except that the QAnon crazies and MAGA minions are starting to finally connect the dots and recognize a self-serving liar who could successfully bleed them dry of every penny they have via a Trump con, and it still wouldn't be enough to satisfy his pathetically needy ego.

A third rational way of looking at the "pickle" is that Trump and his minions lied before and are also lying now.

Either Trump and his MAGA faithful hyped the existence of the Epstein files and what they contained far beyond what actually existed, ...

Trump is the personification of "hype," and the right-wingnut conspiracy theory brigade of minions have to continually "move the goalposts" and "up the ante" in order to feed the QAnon and MAGA crazy when their BS theories fail to materialize -- lather, rinse, and repeat -- and there is no limit to the wingnuttery.

... or there really is a lot of incriminating (or just embarrassing and career-killing) information in the files that Trump and his lackeys are now actively covering up.

If that wasn't a fact, there would obviously be no reason to cover any of it up and also definitely no reason not to release the files as repeatedly stated and also demanded by multiple of the right-wingnut conspiracy talking heads.

It has to be one or the other, at this point.

It appears that some of those “Yay — mass deportations!” Trump voters in farm states heavily dependent on immigrant labor expected Black folk to replace them, to come work their fields. Just like old times, I guess.
