Lots of advice is definitely delivered via an admonishment. Your advice was delivered after you corrected what you thought was one poster calling another poster &quot;stupid&quot; when he was describing his posting style in a dead-on-accurate fashion. 

But okay, you definitely have a right to admonish people. I&#039;ll concede that.

Their refusal to support common-sense policies, like protecting women’s sports from biological males, showcases their moral bankruptcy and detachment from objective reality. This is not the party of common sense.  This is a brain dead Party that has become a platform for radical ideologies that prioritize performance over substance, ideology and identity over merit and competence.

In Canada, we have free-standing store locations inside malls but most of our retail space is rented inside Canada&#039;s oldest retailer, the Hudson&#039;s Bay Company, started by Royal Proclamation in 1670, a couple hundred years before Canada was a country.

In recent years the Hudson&#039;s Bay has come under hard times, primarily through bad management while my company has thrived in this department store setting. Our sales transactions are processed through the Bay cash register and in lieu of rent, the Bay takes a percentage of our sales and reinburses us the rest. However, as has become normal practice for a struggling Hudson&#039;s Bay over the last many years, instead of holding back a percentage of our sales, they have been keeping ALL of our sales since August 2024. This has forced us to &quot;work to rule&quot; inside our Bay locations and lay off our part-time staff twice in the last six months.&lt;/I&gt;

Since it&#039;s bad management by the Canadian company  and what occurred started 6 months ago....

I am at a loss  to find &lt;B&gt;PRESIDENT&lt;/B&gt; Trump&#039;s culpability here...

Shouldn&#039;t the blame lay with Hudson&#039;s Bay due to their bad management??

		<description>I&#039;ve now been personally impacted by the Trump Tariff Whiplash. I work for a German Ladies Wear company with retail locations across the globe. In Canada, we have free-standing store locations inside malls but most of our retail space is rented inside Canada&#039;s oldest retailer, the Hudson&#039;s Bay Company, started by Royal Proclamation in 1670, a couple hundred years before Canada was a country.

In recent years the Hudson&#039;s Bay has come under hard times, primarily through bad management while my company has thrived in this department store setting. Our sales transactions are processed through the Bay cash register and in lieu of rent, the Bay takes a percentage of our sales and reinburses us the rest. However, as has become normal practice for a struggling Hudson&#039;s Bay over the last many years, instead of holding back a percentage of our sales, they have been keeping ALL of our sales since August 2024. This has forced us to &quot;work to rule&quot; inside our Bay locations and lay off our part-time staff twice in the last six months.

Our CEO worked with the Bay to come to an agreed upon schedule for repayment and then, of course, the Bay went into non-compliance and just this week came the second round of layoffs for our part-time staff. 

The Bay has been trying to finalize a deal that would see their suppliers, vendors and licensees (like us) paid in full. However, these negotiations fell apart in the wake of all of the Trump Tariff Whiplash and the Bay will be filing for creditor protection on Monday to avoid bankruptcy and to allow for restructuring.

Thanks a lot Trump and America - what a great friend and ally you are ... NOT!

When I worked the road, I HATED to write tickets.. It was nothing but paperwork for me..  But if someone I pulled over was an asshole??  They were guaranteed to get a ticket...
