Part 3: A list of "talking points" for the coming week. To my mind, this list should be exclusively 'short and snappy, meme-worthy' - and in the past, CW has had some good ones.

I assume at least some people who read the weekly column never return to the 'comments' section. So depending on someone else to clean up the 'talking points' misses at least some of the intended audience.

I've been reading these since Huffpo days, and they have always come across to me as something for a letter to the editor, or to bring up in a discussion, not a for a slogan or tweet or FB meme or anything that demands short and snappy above all else. Short and snappy is a particular skill--a valuable one in most social media now--but is often pretty shallow. Being able to summarise well (the short bit) doesn't always go with the meme/slogan/snappy bit.
