The Hunter Biden investigation, regardless of its obvious merits, remains a mere distraction in the grand scheme of things. Still, it was incredibly stupid for Hunter to take a consulting position with a Ukrainian energy company while his father, the VPOTUS, was in charge of the Ukraine file. Equally stupid and ill-advised was his father to be advocating in favour of it. Both chose very unwisely. But, just based on time and money spent as compared to positive outcome, or lack thereof, the Trump investigations by Congress and the courts were by far the biggest government waste to many objective observers.

The Hunter Biden investigation, regardless of its obvious merits, remains a mere distraction in the grand scheme of things.
