Sometimes, in the morning with my coffee, I reflect upon the fact that Donald Trump will not be able to flee to North Korea, or Russia, or wherever.

What would stop him from visiting somewhere and just not returning home?

You're making me wonder if their orders include more than just protecting Trump and questioning if Trump actually did defect, where would he be most likely to go?

Okay, after careful consideration (I'm serious here), I have two distinct "best" possibilities:

* United Arab Emirates would be the most likely place where he'd flee. Why? Because they are a tax haven and also have no extradition treaty with America. Although they are a Muslim country, Trump actually excluded them from his "Muslim ban." Trump also had that huge arms deal with UAE while on his way out the door and attempting to subvert American democracy.

* Russia. No explanation really necessary in regards to Trump, and they do have a nice little collection of assets there from the United States who will badmouth America in exchange for legal cover, tax breaks, etc.

Tara Reade (remember her, who accused Biden of sexual assault) recently defected to Russia wagging her tongue about not feeling "safe" in America. At the time she falsely accused Biden (with only a little investigation) she was correctly identified as a fraud as well as a Russian asset and propagandist... so might as well make it official. How long before Russia uses her to slander Biden iin attempt to get Trump reelected? But I digress.

Hang Mike Pence (in 2,000 words or less). GO!

Pence has close to a zero percent chance of winning the Republican nomination, with his chances for possibly reprising his role as vice president hovering at somewhat less than zero.

You know, when that fly landed on his head during the 2020 VP debate, Mike Pence was actually discussing how President Trump and he "always stand with law enforcement," and if you look really closely, you can see that fly vigorously shake its tiny little head.

In her followup to Pence's remarks, (future) Vice President Harris correctly schooled Pence regarding "reality" and how it was Donald Trump who took a debate stage a week prior and refused to condemn white supremacists and when pressed to do so requested they "stand back, stand by" and how it was "part of a pattern of Donald Trump's."

I can think of many words to describe Mike Pence (boring, robotic, personality-challenged, uncharismatic, holier-than-thou, insufferable)...

This is where political handicapping is done which involves wagering on who will [fill in the blank win the election/get indicted/whatever.] While the odds** generally track with the polls they rarely mirror them.

**For example, today you could pay 59 cents to win one dollar that Trump gets the nomination. DeSantis sits at 30 cents to win a buck and the rest are at 5 cents and less. It’s sort of like playing the stock market as it’s always changing and one has to assess viability.

The money knows they say, and this forum has had a superior track record.

I had to laugh at that one. Is there anyone who actually believes that a present-day President Trump, coming to the end of his second term in 2024, would not find it necessary and proper to declare that the 22nd Amendment is 'rigged' and 'totally unfair'? So it would of course be pronounced by presidential decree to be null and void. Any losers who objected would be arrested for treason. The Supreme Court would of course uphold the decree against any challenges.

Come on, now. January 6th proved beyond debate that Trump would be 'president for life' if he could have his way, and things still might come to that if he is elected next year. To analyze American politics as if that were not true comes across as naive, romantic, and somewhat foolish.

As I am of the belief that the Putin-Trump-Bromance is just the tip of the iceberg — with untold damages to America.

So it wouldn’t surprise me if Putin arranged for Trump to be Epsteined to cover his tracks.
