Elon Musk being forced by lawmakers to honor his offer to purchase Twitter. Tough break for Elon.

Twitter obviously cannot become a free-for-all hellscape, where anything can be said with no consequences!

Your Honor,

There was no intent on my part to post the above comment(s) twice. I therefore request a jury trial and throw myself upon the mercy of the Court.

Now, according to the Democrat Party line, the woman's decision to kill her baby is between the woman and her doctor.. PERIOD...

THAT is the Democrat Party line..

Laughably incorrect.

Why is it so, according to Democrats, so FANTASTICALLY outside the realm of even consideration to think that, in the decision to kill EITHER baby THE LAW, not to mention MORALITY and simple human decency, should have some say in the matter???

Oh, I see your obvious problem, you're hysterically and painfully unaware that Roe v. Wade was actually decided by lawmakers and describes in detail the laws governing abortion.

Ignorance is bliss... and also flailing and painful to witness.

CW

Delaware is the official "home state" of most gigantic American corporations, and when he was in the Senate Biden would look out for banking interests so much he was known as "the Senator from MBNA." So for him to take on the big banks is noteworthy indeed.

It makes sense if you put it in context, though. Since the State of Delaware has been home to more corporations than people for a long time, Senator MBNA was simply representing the wishes of the majority of his constituents. Fast forward, and President Biden is now the leader of the free world where corporations are taking a backseat to the average Joe.

So, to recap: I can spin that.

Not true that "Reps cannot handle the thought of a trans girl playing sports."

t's only the thought of trans girls competing against real girls that they object to. They're perfectly willing to have then competing against other boys.

Dear Democrats.. You suck so bad because you are racist and you demand that EVERYONE thinks like you do..

Wow... a comment from one of those "free thinker" types... this should be fun!

Notice how he spews projectile-vomit-like projections onto others! Someone who is so easily set off by a person's desire to be referred to by a certain pronoun that they disagree with is claiming to be the real victim.

Projection today really focuses on how racist others are but that they are not racist. And somehow, they claim that it's racist to even think that their racist acts could somehow be construed as "racist". Even goes as far as saying people of a certain race

So, can we can the bogus and totally UN-SCIENTIFIC claptrap that the decision to KILL a week-from-birth baby should ONLY be between the woman and her doctor..

Such a claim is clear and unmitigated felgercarp..

Except your law requires a mother to carry a dead and rotting fetus to term. You could have written the laws to allow for the removal, but you didn't. You want women to suffer. You want them to know that YOU know more than they or their doctors do about what is GOOD for THEM! No exceptions says the idiots who are so focused on making everyone think like they do. No one gets to have an abortion because you disagree with us. Again, project more about who forces their views on others. You don't think abortions should be allowed, then don't have one! We aren't forcing anyone to have an abortion.

Can't say GAY in a classroom because that will turn your children gay. That's never actually happened, despite what you tell yourself in order to scare yourself. Republicans cannot handle the thought of a trans girl playing sports... even when so few actually do attempt to play sports in school. Republicans are so committed to preventing it that they are willing to look up every little girl's skirt that plays sports just hoping they find a ding-dong!

For all intents and purposes based on ALL SCIENCE and FACT, the babies are IDENTICAL... The ONLY distinction is a mere 2 weeks time. 14 days.. At THAT stage of their development, there is virtually ZERO difference in the 2 babies scientifically and factually speaking..

People who make statements like this are just proving to the world that they are fukin' morons! If the mother has the baby four weeks early, according to you that fetus that is 6 weeks early should be able to live outside the womb without assistance. So why do we have incubators for them to be placed in if they are that premature? Hell, if there is zero difference in the two then why do we call them premature? They should be able to be treated like any other baby that is born, right?

And you are claiming that there is no difference between that fetus' living conditions in a womb and baby's living conditions in a room? Is the fetus breathing air? Inside the mother's womb, is it breathing air through its lungs? No? That's not what you meant? Of course it isn't, sunshine.

It's clear on just how proud of yourself you are for making these stupid speeches where you believe that you are putting our arguments to rest with your logic and intelligence! Keep on telling everyone how factual your laughable comments are! Might as well ad "physician" to your long list of the imaginary jobs you claim to have had that you have no knowledge of.

From Gizmodo:

Elon Musk's $100 Burnt Hair Perfume, the 'Essence of Repugnant Desire,' Has Sold Out

Multi-CEO and internet jester Elon Musk has sold 30,000 bottles of a perfume meant to smell like your head is on fire, “Burnt Hair.” Described by Musk as both “the essence of repugnant desire” and “the finest fragrance on Earth,” the “unique, limited edition, collector’s item” is now sold out, Musk announced on Twitter late Tuesday.

What seemingly started off as an internet joke in late September quickly turned into reality last week, when Musk launched the perfume and began selling it for $100 a bottle on The Boring Company’s website. As part of the sales push, the tech mogul even changed his Twitter bio to “Perfume Salesman” and excitedly pointed out that people could pay in Doge if they wanted.

For those who want to smell like a douche...

Democrats wondering 'why we suck' as they face possible midterm losses: Politico column

Harris wrote, 'Many Democrats believe there is already sufficient evidence to make the question unavoidable: What the hell is our problem?'
Politico founding editor John Harris claimed that Democrats are so nervous about losing their congressional majority in the upcoming midterm elections that many of them are already pointing the finger at one another and asking, "Why do we suck?"

In a column for Politico Magazine, titled, "Democrats Debate Themselves: Why Do We Suck?," Harris described these pessimistic Democrats as performing "an autopsy on a living patient."

Although the editor opened his column with the acknowledgment that Democrats haven’t lost anything yet, he noted that there are "Plenty of prominent party voices" who are preparing to incur losses. He wrote, "Many Democrats believe there is already sufficient evidence to make the question unavoidable: What the hell is our problem?"

I already pointed out how wrong you were about the politically bigoted Democrats attack on the GOP canvasser...

Did you? Not in that thread...Let's see what you did post... I posted an article with the actual arrest affidavit and it said no such thing. Got an updated affidavit?

We're not talking about what is done..

Then what are you talking about?

'Democrats worried': AZ Senate race moves closer to GOP pickup territory, Masters says Kelly 'floundering'

'Arizonans know Mark Kelly is the one responsible for surging inflation, surging crime and surging gas prices,' Blake Masters told Fox News Digital

With less than two weeks to go before the midterm elections, the Cook Political Report adjusted its ratings in Arizona's Senate race from "Lean Democrat" to a toss-up, suggesting the GOP's chances are improving in a crucial race that could determine which party takes control of the Senate this fall.

For several months, Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., maintained a lead in the Senate race against Trump-endorsed Blake Masters, but the new rating reveals an apparent shift in the race, lessening the Democrat's hopes for re-election.

The rating change comes "amid a spate of tightening private polling that has left Democrats worried about one of their strongest incumbents," Cook Political Report analyst Jessica Taylor wrote. Fox News' Power Rankings have also rated the Arizona Senate race as a toss-up.

"Despite massive financial backing from the wealthy special interests who control him, Mark Kelly’s campaign is floundering. Because Arizonans know Mark Kelly is the one responsible for surging inflation, surging crime and surging gas prices," Masters told Fox News Digital in response to the new rating.

Dems can kiss Arizona goodbye.. It's in the GOP column, baby!!!

They don't do abortions a week before birth.

Aww right.. Aww right..

So you would agree that the discussion about having an elective abortion a week before birth should be between the woman, her doctor AND the law...

In other words, you agree with what I am saying..

Why didn't ya say so!?? :D

That's all you had to say...

"Michale.. I agree with you.."
-Bashi

See??? If ya just said that at the start, there wouldn't be all these extraneous comments.. :D

Ya see, the funny thing is, I don't have *ANY* problem with Roe V Wade being the law of the land..

I stated my position quite clearly.. A position the majority of ya'all agreed with.. That there SHOULD be baby killing restrictions at SOME point during a woman's pregnancy..

*MY* only point has been that the "law of the land" should be determined by the DEMOCRATIC process and NOT imposed by Federal BAD Law...

Like Kansas did... More power to Kansas..

Ya'all's problem is you Democrats want to IMPOSE your science-less and fact-less ideology on states who DON'T WANT your science-less and fact-less ideology...

And THAT is where ya'all lost... And will CONTINUE to lose..

There will be no federal codifying of Roe V Wade...

Ya'all can kiss that wet dream good-bye... :D

This old chestnut? Can't come up with new material?

They don't do abortions a week before birth. Period. Late term abortions are not selective and are generally only because there is a serious medical problem and the life of the mother is at risk.

As for baby killing, that would be more of a Republican thing...

So much has been made about Baby killing and the decision SHOULD be between the woman and her doctor..

That's the Democrat Party line, right?? Baby Killing should be between the woman and her doctor.. PERIOD..

OK.. Let's look at that..

We have 2 women and 2 babies....

One woman has her baby sleeping in her womb one week before birth..

The other woman has her baby sleeping in a bassinette one week after birth..

Now, according to the Democrat Party line, the woman's decision to kill her baby is between the woman and her doctor.. PERIOD...

THAT is the Democrat Party line..

But, of course, we all know that the woman with the baby that sleeps in a bassinette a week after birth?? THAT woman's decision to kill her baby is between the woman AND THE LAW... THAT is the reality..

So, is it REALLY such a stretch to say that the woman who has the baby sleeping in the womb a week BEFORE birth, is it really such a stretch to say that the LAW should be involved in THAT decision as well??

I mean, scientifically speaking, they are the SAME babies... BOTH babies have the same number of fingers, same number of toes, same number of eyes and arms and nose...

Why is it so, according to Democrats, so FANTASTICALLY outside the realm of even consideration to think that, in the decision to kill EITHER baby THE LAW, not to mention MORALITY and simple human decency, should have some say in the matter???

For all intents and purposes based on ALL SCIENCE and FACT, the babies are IDENTICAL... The ONLY distinction is a mere 2 weeks time. 14 days.. At THAT stage of their development, there is virtually ZERO difference in the 2 babies scientifically and factually speaking..

For the ONE slightly older baby that sleeps in the bassinette it's a horrid and disgusting and perverse act to KILL that baby... And RIGHTLY so!

For the baby that is ever so slightly younger with NO OTHER distinction beyond it's sleeping location it is perfectly acceptable to Democrats to allow that mother to KILL that baby..

The *ONLY* difference is where they sleep.. One sleeps in a womb, the other in a bassinette..

So, can we can the bogus and totally UN-SCIENTIFIC claptrap that the decision to KILL a week-from-birth baby should ONLY be between the woman and her doctor..

Such a claim is clear and unmitigated felgercarp..

7/20.... :D

Now for some welcome news.. :D

News of ‘Twister’ sequel has weather fanatics swirling with excitement

A mild obsession with the movie “Twister” is virtually a requirement for a weather enthusiast. Meteorologists, hobbyists or even slightly-more-than-casual cloud watchers probably have seen it at least a handful of times. Each time it airs on cable TV, it seems that half of “weather Twitter” (WxTwitter) takes to social media to alert colleagues. Now a sequel is reportedly coming — and it’s taking the weather enterprise by storm.

Let's hope they don't spoil it and make it a Left Wing Global Warming preachy sermon BS con job... :^/

Nothing spoils a good idea and/or a good movie like Democrat BS anti-America science-free claptrap... :^/

And the famed "tolerance" and "inclusive" nature of the Democrats... :eyeroll:

Latina Republican blocked from joining Congressional Hispanic Caucus

The caucus defended its decision, citing Flores' 'extreme views' and party affiliation

Democrats who run the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) have blocked a freshman Latina Republican lawmaker from joining the group.

Mayra Flores, who flipped a long-held Democratic House seat along the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this year, said she was refused admission by the CHC because of her party affiliation.

"As the first Mexican-born American Congresswoman, I thought the Hispanic Caucus would be open to working together," said Flores. "This denial once again proves a bias towards conservative Latinas that don’t fit their narrative or ideology."

Elon Musk visits Twitter headquarters ahead of $44B acquisition deadline

Tesla chief executive has until Oct. 28 to close the $44B buyout

Elon Musk arrived at Twitter's headquarters ahead of Friday's court-imposed deadline to close his $44 billion acquisition of the social media giant.

The Tesla chief executive posted a video to his Twitter account on Wednesday showing him carrying a sink into the building with the caption "Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!"

Ahhhhhh A mid-term election that will see Democrats thrown out of office en-masse... :D

And a severe spanking to politically correct cancel-culture bozos on Twitter!!! :D

I would have thought the day's commentary would be about all the debates we had Tuesday night...

On the other hand, I could see why Weigantians® would want to forget they ever happened.. :D

Democrats' very bad debate night
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/democrats-very-bad-debate-night

And it wasn't just Fetterman in PA who had the floor wiped with themselves..

When mildly challenged on the subject of school closures in Michigan, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer resorted to misrepresenting her COVID record.

Whitmer responded as most members of her party have when faced with the fallout from their pandemic policies: she blamed the virus and pretended she had no choice but to lock her state down when she was questioned about education, for instance, and what she intended to do about Michigan students' appalling academic performance over the previous two years.

Whitmer then made an extraordinary assertion, "Mrs. Dixon asserts that I kept students out longer than any other state," which was a poor rebuttal in and of itself. "That's simply untrue... Three months were spent without classes for children."

Parents in Michigan are well aware that this is a blatant lie. Some districts essentially started the 2022 school year by closing their classrooms for nearly a year; Whitmer never made an attempt to reopen them. The Ann Arbor district did the same. Additionally, she gave her health director permission to order that all state-run schools, including colleges and universities, resume remote instruction for three weeks in November 2020.

Whitmer falls back to the Democrat tried and true method... Shrugging her shoulders and lying thru her teeth about the facts.. :^/

Over in New York, Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul floundered when confronted about her state’s rising crime rates.

Tuesday's election allowed New Yorkers to see Hochul for who she truly is: a supporter of the status quo who doesn't give a damn if you're concerned about getting pushed in front of a subway train in New York City or randomly stabbed on the streets.

Rep. Lee Zeldin, her Republican rival, centered his debate performance on crime fears and pushed Hochul on her support for cashless bail and other progressive laws that let criminals roam free in the Empire State. Hochul answered at one point: "Anyone who violates our laws faces repercussions, particularly in light of the adjustment we made to bail. I'm not sure why that means so much to you "She spoke.

Zeldin is regrettably not the only person for whom the state's bail reforms are significant, according to Hochul. More than 56% of New York voters as of March said they thought cashless bail played a role in the rise in crime.

Of course, the highlight... well, for Democrats, the lowlight... of the evening was the complete unmitigated and unequivocal disaster of the evening was the PA debate...

Fetterman set the stage for this unmitigated train wreck when he first opened his mouth..

"Hi Goodnight everybody"

This has NOTHING to do with auditory reception issues..

To be a US Senator, you have to string together coherent words from complex thoughts... Fetterman proved last night he is simply not capable of doing that..

Nobody is criticizing him for the impairments that his stroke has left him with today. However, he and his team are to fault for not withdrawing from the race as soon as it occurred and instead attempting to downplay and conceal the severity of his cognitive impairment. It was very evident that he was unsuitable to serve.

Whitmer and Hochul have a very strong chance of losing, while Fetterman will definitely lose. President Joe Biden's unpopularity has put them at a severe disadvantage, making them seem out of touch and incompetent. However, they will only be responsible for their own failure if and when they lose.

All in all, it's easy to see why ya'all don't want to talk about any of the debates...

They ALL were an unmitigated hell-spawn disaster for Democrats...

It's clear that ANY chance of even a token of a decent showing for the Democrats in 12 days has simply been taken off the table.. :D

Look, folks, these are junk fees. They're unfair, and they hit marginalized Americans the hardest, especially low-income folks and people of color. They benefit big corporations, not consumers, not working families. And that changes now.

BBBBWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

Leave it to a Democrat to make it about racism..

Get that??

Junk fees in airline seating is a racial issue!!

BBBBWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I have long felt that airline seating is extraordinarily unfair to oversized people such as myself and warrants Federal intervention. Thanks to @POTUS for giving this crucial issue the attention it deserves. (For those lacking a sense of humor, this is called sarcasm)
-Glenn Jacobs

Things are looking bad for Democrats, but will the message of "airlines charging extra for more legroom hurts minorities" turn things around?
-Frank J Fleming

Who had 'Legroom Equity as a Dem closing message' on their bingo card?
-Frank Heye

I gotta go with Fleming on this issue..

Democrats are tooling around for something.... ANYTHING that will turn the election around for them..

I think they hit a real winner with "extra leg room fees on airlines is racist!!" :eyeroll:

THAT'll bring out the voters!!

How sad is it for Democrats that they are SOOOOO desperate that they would be scrapping the bottom of the barrel so desperately for an election issue, eh?? :D

Legroom in airline seating is a racial issue...

THAT's a GOOD one.. :eyeroll:

Ya'all need any more proof that senility is setting in with the Biden administration??? :D

President Joe Biden made an announcement today that few people probably watched, but which will nonetheless help tens of millions of American families out in the future.

Is this why Republicans win so much of the time?
