This is how it happens for the losing party. In the spring, there are rumors and hushed whispers among the cognoscenti about the coming of a wave. There is fear; this is used to stoke the donors into handing over more of their dollars to help stave off disaster. Then, in the dog days of August, there arises hope. Maybe, just maybe, it will not be a disaster. Perhaps we will defy history and not lose many seats; maybe we will even gain! Take that, fundamentals!

And then Labor Day happens and people begin to pay attention and the hope that was so hopeful at the end of the summer begins to dissipate. For a few weeks, until about mid-October, they tell themselves that nothing has changed since summer, that hope is alive, and that there will be no wave. And in mid-October, the signs become impossible to ignore.

The money dries up for the losing party, while the smart money flows to the winning one. Polls start changing, first one, then two, then all of them, all in one direction. We hear of the losing side making tough calls to abandon the weak to try and save a few of the less weak. Nothing goes right. Gaffes, mistakes, the occasional sex scandal. You can feel the gloom setting in. The cheerleaders begin hedging their predictions. When the Democrats are the losers, like in this cycle, the regime media begins walking back its official optimism to avoid total humiliation when the narrative it has been pushing for the last six months turns to ashes.

Then the ranks break. The solid front shatters. The rout begins.

We’re almost there. We are almost to the point of Democrat collapse.

It's gonna be like Election Day 2016 around Weigantia® in just about 2 weeks.. :D

Looks like according to the Police report, no mention of him being a republican as the reason he could not pass and the police department said: When asked by Local 10 News if police believed the attack was politically motivated, Sgt. Jose Torres, a Hialeah Police Department spokesperson, said the agency would “allow the investigation to reveal that,” but, as of Monday afternoon, there was “no indication that is the case.” How ANYONE with any moral fiber whatsoever can support a blatant liar???

Rubio canvasser attacked in Florida; 1 arrested

Rubio said the alleged victim will need reconstructive surgery

Police have made one arrest after a canvasser supporting the reelection campaign of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. was beaten down on the street in Hialeah, Florida.

Rubio tweeted Monday that the canvasser was attacked Sunday night by four people who supposedly told him Republicans were not allowed in their area.

"Last night one of our canvassers wearing my T-shirt and a Desantis hat was brutally attacked by 4 animals who told him Republicans weren’t allowed in their neighborhood in #Hialeah #Florida," Rubio posted. "He suffered internal bleeding, a broken jaw & will need facial reconstructive surgery."

According to a police report published by Local 10 News, one suspect in the attack was identified as Javier Lopez. The report said Lopez allegedly was blocking the sidewalk while the canvasser was trying to pass by. The canvasser then tried to walk toward the other side of the street to get around him when Lopez allegedly said, "You can't pass by here, this is my neighborhood."

I say it all the time about Nancy Pelosi: I don't understand why more women are not proud of her. They don't have to like her politics, but she's the most powerful woman in the history of this country and she's good at her job. So, I have to begrudgingly hand it to Liz Cheney. She on board for every bit of the vile GOP agenda except for Florida Man's Big Lie, but she gave it all up to keep him away from the White House. I would prefer her over any other Republican for president. I've been very impressed with her at the hearings.
