Blaa Blaaa Blaaaa...

Democrats have been trying to take President Trump down for 6+ years... And they have **ALWAYS** failed... Time and time again.. One failure after another...

It's hilarious because, when President Trump had a -D after his name, Democrats LOVED him..

They heaped honors and honors upon President Trump when he was a Democrat..

But NOW.... NOW, all of the sudden, President Trump is Mark Pellegrino incarnate...

Which simply proves the tagline..

Hypocrisy.. It's not a bug in Democrat programming. It's a feature.

Heh. :)

I know, right? Reality TV at slimy rock bottom... complete with fake electors, forged documents sent to the National Archives, and eyewitness testimony who witnessed Trump leaning on Pence to accept the fake electors and ignore the certified electors in favor of the forged certificates.

I shit you not:

Ivana Marie Trump a.k.a. "Ivanka"

Come on down. You're the next contestant...

Committee Correspondence to Dear Ms. Trump

*

As January 6th approached, President Trump attempted on multiple occasions to persuade Vice President Pence to participate in his plan. One of the President's discussions with the Vice President occurred by phone on the morning of January 6th. You were present in the Oval Office and observed at least one side of that telephone conversation.

Interesting stuff.

The correspondence requests Ms. Trump weigh in on details obtained through other witnesses, and they share testimonial evidence from retired Army Gen. Keith Kellogg, the former national security adviser to then-Vice President Mike Pence.

Kellogg confirmed that Trump was pressuring Mike Pence to overturn the election's results despite Pence's constitutional mandate and ceremonial role to certify Biden's win at the Capitol later that day. According to Kellogg, Trump made remarks to Pence along the lines of: "Mike, it's not right. You can do this. I'm counting on you to do it. If you don't do it, I picked the wrong man four years ago. You're going to wimp out."

Kellogg also told the January 6 committee that at the end of the call the morning of January 6th, Ivanka turned to him and said, "Mike Pence is a good man."

The January 6 committee also notes they have evidence in the form of documents showing that Trump's White House counsel may have concluded that, had Pence followed through with the former president's plans, it would have violated the Constitution or would be illegal.

Wow, lots of interesting eyewitness testimony from someone in the room.

******

Poor Benedict Donald. Who could have possibly known he would "turn coat on America and her people in order to satisfy his insatiable greed and lust for power and title"? *quoting myself*

Anyone paying attention to prior details. :)

Please do not feed the trolls because they feed off your attention. It's clear that they're not interested in debate or persuasion and they don't mind looking retarded.

The best and only way to insult a troll is to ignore it.

BEHOLD...trolling isn't exactly new:

Proverbs 26:4 tells us,

Not to answer a fool according to his folly lest we be like him.

George Carlin,

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something.

Mark Twain,

Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.

Mark Twain, again,

It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.

Just scroll through trollery with narry a glance. It’s now three weeks since I've started doing this and I'll never go back to that waste of time.

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms;
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lin’d,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper’d pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well sav’d, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
Shakespeare, As You Like It

No, like the vast majority of your links, they are opinions...

They are FACTS of what people SAID about what Biden said..

And those statements are by people who KNOW what they are talking about..

Further, it's a FACT that your claim of "Right Wing Press" is complete and utter bullshit..

I know you won't admit that you are wrong.. You only concede when you hide in past commentaries..

But the FACT is, when you claimed it was "Right Wing Press" that was making the claims, you are completely, utterly, demonstrably and factually.... WRONG..

It's amazing how out of context the right wing press has to go for their points. The Russia answers are actually quite nuanced and Biden seems to be avoiding drawing a "red line" rather than inviting Putin to invade.

Hardly a "Right Wing Press"... :eyeroll:

Further, the government of Ukraine ALSO took Biden's words to mean that Biden issued an invitation to Russia to invade...

Again.. HARDLY "Right Wing Press"...

You really need to face the FACTS and reality..

Biden approval hits new low at one-year mark: AP-NORC poll

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden ends his first year in the White House with a clear majority of Americans for the first time disapproving of his handling of the presidency in the face of an unrelenting pandemic and roaring inflation, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

More Americans disapprove than approve of how Biden is handling his job as president, 56% to 43%. As of now, just 28% of Americans say they want Biden to run for reelection in 2024, including only 48% of Democrats.

Asked on Wednesday at a wide-ranging news conference about his flagging popularity, Biden responded, “I don’t believe the polls.”

It’s a stark reversal from early in Biden’s presidency.

Approval wise, Biden STILL haven't found his bottom yet...

And, given how his 2021 has gone, there is no bottom in site... :D

Ya just GOTTA love it.. :D

For now, they appear to be succeeding. Conservative groups, such as the Southeastern Legal Foundation and Parents Defending Education, have challenged the new segregation on legal grounds, but those cases will take years to wind their way through the federal courts. Meantime, progressives are likely to solidify their position and continue to normalize the policy of “segregation for social justice.” If they succeed, they will send the country backward, reviving old antagonisms and hollowing out the Constitution’s civil rights protections.

Voters of all persuasions should be appalled by this development and work to subvert it. There is, no doubt, a strong majority of Americans who oppose state-mandated racial discrimination. Unless they speak out publicly against it, however, the new segregation will continue to spread through our institutions—threatening the foundations of civil rights law and fundamental principles of American society and government.

Once Democrats are relegated to minority Party status for the next couple decades, this country will get back on track... :D

How is this kind of policy even possible? As legal scholars have made clear, all of these programs are blatantly unconstitutional: they violate the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause and, additionally, the Civil Rights Act’s prohibition against racial segregation. Nevertheless, the new segregation is slowly embedding itself in every domain of public policy. The gambit, for the progressives who support it, is to establish a new status quo—so-called “antiracist discrimination”—and to use their superior cultural power to intimidate the majority into acquiescence.

Democrat "anti racism" is to REAL anti-racism what the Democratic Republic of North Korea is to REAL Democracy.. And a REAL Republic...

Meaning it just is the same old racism with a different label...

The most common justification for the new segregation is that racial minorities suffer disparities that must be rectified through “positive” discrimination, which is presented as a solution for America’s historical racism. In practice, however, these policies often descend into illogic, cruelty, and malice. Minnesota’s recently rescinded criteria, for example, would have prioritized Covid treatment for a healthy 18-year-old black female over a 64-year-old white male with hypertension, who, given the totality of circumstances, faces a much greater risk of serious illness and death. The new politics of race supplants the old science of medicine, with potentially catastrophic consequences for disfavored racial groups.

No, you Kicksplained quite well. I think the words "Uncle Tom" when I think about Clarence Thomas.

In one of Ginni Thomas's videos on "Daily Caller" dated January 6, 2018 (the video has since been removed)...

https://dailycaller.com/2018/01/06/exclusive-justice-thomas-opens-up-on-life-faith-and-his-interracial-marriage-video/

... there was an interview with her husband Clarence. At one point in the video, after talking about their love of motorhoming and Nebraska football, Clarence Thomas was questioned regarding the best part of being a Supreme Court Justice.

Quoting Clarence Thomas's answer to the best part of being a Supreme Court Justice:

Her. It'd be impossible without you. I have to be honest. It would be, um — it’s sort of like, How do you run with one leg? You can’t. It makes it whole, when I have my wife.

~ Clarence Thomas

So there you have it in Justice Thomas's own words. The best part of being a Supreme Court Justice is: "Her."

Yep, never heard of Right Side Broadcasting Network until I was forced to watch Trump's Arizona rally on it. Let's just say that at least one of their camera people used an out of focus cell phone.

Perhaps that's why the QAnon right-wingnut crazies thought the deceased JFK Jr. was impersonating Trump and believed they saw the deceased Kobe Bryant in the crowd. *laughs* They're not only crazy hysterical loons; the camera was out of focus. :)

More facts that prove the Democrat Party is the racist Party...

This year, the new segregation has extended itself into new domains: public education and public-health policy. In Denver, Centennial Elementary School launched a racially exclusive “Families of Color Playground Night” as part of its racial equity programming. In Chicago, Downers Grove South High School held a racially exclusive “Students of Color Field Trip” as part of its own equity initiatives. In the words of Denver Public Schools officials, the administrators implemented the segregated program to “create a space of belonging,” which, they said, without a hint of irony, is “about uniting us, not dividing us.”

The new segregation has also been implemented in public health-care systems, with state and federal agencies denying Covid vaccines and treatment to individuals based on race. This trend began last year, when Vermont provided the vaccine to all members of racial minorities over age 16 but denied it for whites without specific age or health conditions. Later, New York State, Minnesota, Utah, and the federal government adopted health policies that explicitly discriminate against whites, rationing Covid treatments based on race. (After public outcry, Minnesota recently backtracked on this policy, and Utah announced that it is “reevaluating” its policy, but both Utah’s and New York’s arrangements remain in place as of this writing.)

It's no wonder that Democrats' are losing minority support by the millions...

Good to "see" you.

Compare and contrast to Trump’s befuddled speaking at recent rallies.

The QAnon right-wingnut crazies were also none too impressed with the Trump Routine. They also decided it couldn't be Their Orange Worship and must be an impostor because they said they noticed the short-fingered vulgarian's fingers appeared longer. Also not Trump because... no tie. Must be JFK Jr. You think I'm kidding?

Many of the QAnon nuts turned him off too, but not before noticing that Kobe Bryant was in attendance... as if. They hate those celebrity Democrats... until they're deceased, of course, and then they start looking for them at MAGAt rallies because... batshit crazy! :)

Don Harris

It will be a long time before Sinema approaches the amount of money Biden got from BigPharma over his career.

Facts to support this? I don't see any.

How can you tell which politicians take big money and are not influenced by it and which ones are not?

Hint: There are none that are not.

Like unicorn hunting, eh?

Well, then: Congratulations, Don Harris! You just proved exactly why your repetitive bullshit is superfluous and wholly unnecessary. If there are no politicians pure enough as unto the driven snow, then there's no reason to shill for your shit since it would be like hunting for unicorns who fart rainbows and pixies who folic in the meadow. <--- (with props to... well, you know who you are)

Thank you for volunteering to clarifying the absolute uselessness of your purity crusade. Much appreciated. :)

I have commented regularly about how the Democrat Party is still the racist Party... My supporting facts (which have yet to be refuted) are Democrats support of segregation..

The Ghost of Jim Crow

Progressives are re-segregating American institutions under the guise of “racial equity.”
Images from the Jim Crow era in America are seared into the minds of those who lived through it, and of anyone who attended an American history class after the victory of the civil rights movement: side-by-side drinking fountains with signs reading “white” and “colored”; parks and recreation facilities separated into racial enclaves; small-town main streets with whites-only theaters, restaurants, grocers, and amenities.

Fortunately, all that ended by the mid-1960s—or so we had thought. In recent years, segregation has been resurrected, but this time under the guise of “racial equity.” As I reported in late 2020, government agencies in Seattle, Washington, including the King County Library, King County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Veterans Administration, began segregating employees by race for diversity training programs, so that whites could “accept responsibility for their own racism” and minorities could be insulated from “any potential harming [that] might arise from a cross-racial conversation.”
https://www.city-journal.org/woke-segregation-and-the-ghost-of-jim-crow

We also have the fact that Democrats support race-based medicine not based on real medical facts and science, but rather on "equity"

These facts PROVE beyond any doubt that racism is alive and well in the Democrat Party....

Biden went on to say he hasn’t been able to get Republicans to help improve things in the country, for which Republicans and independents again gave him an ‘F’ grade.

How can this be the Republicans' fault when it's DEMOCRATS that are standing in the way of the Democrat Party anti-America agenda???

What IS it about Democrats that they simply cannot accept responsibility for their own frak-ups???

Pollster says Biden news conference earned 'D' and 'F' grades from independents: 'Seems out of touch'

Lee Carter said Biden 'has failed' on his promise of unity

Polling expert Lee Carter revealed Thursday American voters' reactions to President Biden’s first formal press conference in over 300 days. While Democrats generally reacted favorably to the president’s speech, Carter predicted his approval rating won’t see a drastic change based on the real-time reactions of independents.

Biden was pressed by Fox News’ Peter Doocy on his policies that are trending to the left. Biden responded by highlighting his efforts to combat COVID-19 and the successful bipartisan infrastructure bill.

BIDEN'S PRESS CONFERENCE GETS PANNED BY CRITICS: ‘TOTAL DISASTER’

Democrats supported his message, but independents and Republicans both gave the president an ‘F’ grade.

"They said he seems so out of touch – what he said is simply untrue," Carter told Ainsley Earhardt.

"They’re just simply not buying his message."

Guthrie turned the conversation to the 2022 midterm elections.

"[Biden] openly cast doubt on whether the 2022 midterm elections would be legitimate. He said it all depends, which is astonishing to hear a president question whether our elections will be legitimate. We’ve heard it before, but not from this president. Is he really concerned that we may not have fair and free elections?" Guthrie asked.

Harris avoided directly addressing Biden's comments and instead began talking about passing federal voting rights legislation.

Guthrie interrupted Harris, noting that both bills she mentioned failed to pass the Senate.

"If I may finish –" Harris said, but Guthrie continued.

"But the specific question, if you don’t mind, does he think now that these bills haven’t been passed that the ’22 midterms won’t be legitimate or fair or free?" she asked Harris.

Harris continued her previous answer and avoided directly answering Guthrie's question a second time.

What IS it about Democrats (and Weigantians(™michale) for that matter) that they can't answer simple direct YES/NO questions??

Why must Democrats ALWAYS obfuscate, equivocate and outright LIE???

Even normal water-carriers of Democrats are holding Biden Administration's feet to the fire...

Kamala Harris grilled in contentious 'Today' interview addressing Russia, legitimacy of midterm elections

Thursday marked one-year anniversary of Biden-Harris administration

"The president has been very clear and we as the United States are very clear, if Putin takes aggressive action, we are prepared to levy serious costs, period. And I will tell you that part of the posture that we have taken is grounded in the respect and the value we place in–" Harris said before being interrupted by Guthrie.

"I'm sorry to interrupt … I’m sorry to interrupt. But it is less than clear. Thirty minutes after the news conference, the White House press secretary had to actually clarify the president’s remarks –" Guthrie said before Harris spoke over her, appearing frustrated, and saying, "I’m being clear with you right now. And so if you’re interested, I’ll continue to be clear."

Guthrie continued to grill Harris on Ukraine, asking if there was any amount of land or territory Putin could take that the U.S. would turn a blind eye to and if there was a chance the threat of sanctions was having no effect on him. Harris responded that she wasn't going to psychoanalyze the Russian president and that any attack on Ukraine's sovereignty would be considered an aggressive action and met with "severe cost."

Guthrie later suggested that Biden had done damage with his remarks on Ukraine and asked if Putin was likely going to listen to any future statement from him, or the White House press secretary, because of it.

It's clear to anyone that Biden gave a green light to Putin on Ukraine...

One has to wonder if Biden is going to similarly throw Taiwan under the bus as well...

Take, for instance, President Biden’s policy of a wide-open border. That’s even more unpopular in Arizona than the issue of voter ID. Were Senator Kelly from, say, North Dakota this wouldn’t be such a hot button issue, but Arizona is on the front line of the border crisis.

Every day tourists carrying fentanyl, disease, criminal and subversive intent, come traipsing across the undefended Arizona landscape. It is hard to understand why Mr. Biden has embraced such a policy, unless he is planning to include these new visitors in the Voting Rights bill, but he certainly hasn’t made any friends in Arizona.

So, what has Mark Kelly done about this? Our review of the record fails to turn up a single thing. What, one might ask, can a lone Senator do about immigration policy? The answer is, if the lone senator is one of only 50 Democratic senators, a lot. Look no further than what Mr. Kelly’s colleague, Ms. Sinema, did about the filibuster.

On any issue important to Mr. Biden on which he needs a Senate majority — say the broken border — all Mr. Kelly has to do is threaten a ‘no” vote. Mr. Biden would take care of it faster than you can say “C’mon man.”

Kelly could have followed Manchin and Sinema to the promised land of patriotism, principles and integrity..

Yet he chose to throw his country and his honor under the bus....

So, Senator Kelly announced that he would support nuking the filibuster...

Of course Kelly is retiring, knowing that Arizonians won't re-elect someone who so betrayed their values..

Take the argument over killing the filibuster in order to pass the misnamed Voting Rights Bill (the one which would forever bury Jefferson Davis). Ms. Sinema has bravely come forth and given a speech on the Senate floor explaining why this was a bad — in fact Un-American — idea.

She was brilliantly articulate in explaining the role of the filibuster in maintaining some semblance of policy stability in the face of partisan swings. It wasn’t a partisan speech; it was an American history lesson from an unusually thoughtful senator.

Most importantly, it represents Senator Sinema’s constituency, which is overwhelmingly opposed to the idea of eliminating voter ID, a key feature of the voting rights bill. She has stood athwart the scheme with firmness and dignity in keeping with the august nature of the Senate itself.

And Senator Kelly? Nowhere to be found. Whatever happened to the brave, patriotic American who risked his life in the service of the American space program? Where is he when his constituents need him to step up and show a little of the courage and leadership that once informed his life?

Upon election to the Senate, Mr. Kelly seems to have opted for early retirement. Can one name a single issue on which the ex-astronaut has taken a position demonstrating an inkling of moral courage or independent thought?
https://www.nysun.com/national/tale-of-two-senators/91945/

It's really a shame.. Kelly could have stood up for patriotic Americans everywhere and his own constituents...

But he opted to support Party over patriotism.. He chose to HURT his country rather than stand on integrity and principle...

So, he will become EX Senator Kelly.....

Durham's grand juries have already yielded indictments of two Clinton campaign-tied operatives for deceptive attempts to influence the FBI's Trump-Russia probe. That Horowitz has already uncovered so many inconsistencies in the FBI's account – and that Durham has gone out of his way to question the FBI predication that Horowitz accepted – suggests that the Steele dossier and the Alfa Bank "backchannel" story are far from the only fraudulent Trump-Russia activity in Durham's sights.

If Durham does unearth additional evidence that the FBI did not launch the Trump-Russia probe in the way that it claims, then that would be yet another devastating revelation for a bureau that has already been caught relying on Clinton-funded disinformation and lying about it. Given how hard the FBI and Democratic Party allies have fought to shield this conduct from scrutiny, Durham's probe could become a major political flashpoint as his probe reaches its final months and hones in on its final targets.

Yea, Durham needs to roll up the investigation just in time for the 2024 Presidential Election.. That will plunge the final stake thru the heart of the monster... :D

And the hits against Democrats just KEEP ON COMIN'!! :D

Again, please note this is from the ONLY OFFICIAL sanctioned objective and Unbiased News Source in Weigantia(™michale)...

As he documents the role of Hillary Clinton’s campaign in generating false allegations of Trump-Russia collusion, Special Counsel John Durham has also previewed a challenge to the FBI’s claims about how and why its counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign began. At stake is the completeness of the official reckoning within the U.S. government over the Russiagate scandal – and whether there will be an accounting commensurate with the offense: the abuse of the nation's highest law enforcement and intelligence powers to damage an opposition presidential candidate turned president, at the behest of his opponent from the governing party he defeated.

The drama is playing out against the clashing approaches of the two Justice Department officials tasked with scrutinizing the Russia probe's origins and unearthing any misconduct: Durham, the Sphinx-like prosecutor with a reputation for toughness whose work continues, and Michael Horowitz, the Department of Justice inspector general, whose December 2019 report faulted the FBI's handling of the Russia probe but nonetheless concluded that it was launched in good faith.

Democrats feel the walls closing in on them...

Once Durham is finished with Democrats, their Party won't be worth a plugged nickel.. :D

Biden's lies and disastrous first year have generated a record boost in support for Republicans. According to a new Gallup poll, Americans' voting preferences in 2021 shifted from a nine-point Democrat advantage to a five-point GOP lead. Biden’s poll numbers have also plummeted in historic fashion. This unprecedented swing in support demonstrates that the president and his media cheerleaders haven't succeeded in distracting Americans from his bad record.

To paraphrase George W. Bush, voters fooled once won't get fooled again.

There is simply no path for the Democrat Party that leads to ANY semblance of a GOOD ending.. Either in 2022 or 2024...

It's ALL bad news for Dems.... Pure and simple...

To distract from this pathetic record, Biden has spent an enormous amount of time lying about voting. Last spring, he called Georgia's voting law that makes it easy to vote but hard to cheat "Jim Crow in the 21st century." His lies convinced Major League Baseball to move the All-Star Game from Atlanta to Denver, vindictively punishing local small businesses, many minority-owned.

Last week, Biden returned to Georgia and made an incendiary speech, which was panned by members of his own party, in an effort to destroy the legislative filibuster to pass a law that would nationalize elections and make ballot harvesting and election fraud easier. Biden, an institutionalist who was elected to bring the country together, defamed Republicans as autocrats opposed to democracy and in favor of "anti-voting laws — new laws designed to suppress your vote, to subvert our elections."

Malarky. These common-sense reforms merely revert election practices to pre-pandemic norms. In many cases, the voting changes are less strict than in Biden's home state of Delaware or Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's home state of New York.

It's hilarious to think that Democrats whine and complain about MORE permissive laws in RED states and ignore the MORE RESTRICTIVE laws in BLUE states..

Which proves the tagline..

Hypocrisy.. It's not a bug in Democrat programming. It's a feature.

Yep, never heard of Right Side Broadcasting Network until I was forced to watch Trump's Arizona rally on it. Let's just say that at least one of their camera people used an out of focus cell phone.

So, why are you such a fervent President Trump watcher, eh Cad???

You've admitted you watch him religiously..

So why didn't Mr. Ginni Thomas recuse himself from any cases that involve January 6? His wife had obviously publicly involved herself and made her opinions widely known in the public correspondence and on Facebook (before it was taken down, of course) wherein on January 6, she posted: "Watch MAGA crowd today best with Right Side Broadcasting [link omitted by me] and then C-Span for what the Congress does starting at 1:00 pm today. LOVE MAGA people!!!!"

Any more questions? Show of hands.

Stig!!!! Buddy!!!! There ya are!!!! :D

You correctly assessed Biden’s objective in your 3rd sentence. He had to show friends and foes alike that he could still run a mental marathon.

Well, that was obviously an epic fail!! :D

how well Biden handled the event. Compare and contrast to Trump’s befuddled speaking at recent rallies.

Of course you would say that..

But President Trump had SUCCESSES that he could brag about..

Biden has none.. :D

Good ta see you again, buddy... :D

You correctly assessed Biden’s objective in your 3rd sentence. He had to show friends and foes alike that he could still run a mental marathon. The immediate reaction from the press focused on the duration of his performance not on how well Biden handled the event. Compare and contrast to Trump’s befuddled speaking at recent rallies.

Biden brags that he has created 6 million jobs since he took office. But these are not new jobs. They are merely ones already created under President Trump that temporarily disappeared during the pandemic. In reality, the labor market remains far below its pre-pandemic peak. There are still 3.6 million fewer people working today compared to February 2020. The labor force participation rate, including among 25-to-54-year-olds, has gained back only about half of its pandemic-related decline.

Biden is taking credit for what President Trump created..

Biden promised his policies would make the economy come "roaring back." He claims he's presided over "the strongest first-year economic track record of any president in the last 50 years." Yet in reality, his reckless spending, new regulations, and proposed tax hikes have put the economy on the cusp of stagflation.

Last week, the Labor Department announced that inflation, as measured by the consumer price index, increased by 7% in 2021, the highest rate in 40 years. I predicted Biden's policies would cause historic inflation at the beginning of his term. Yet, the president claimed as late as last July that "no serious economist" believed inflation would persist. He repeatedly promised inflation would be short-lived.

When you conduct an apples-to-apples comparison of how inflation is measured now versus 40 years ago, today's inflation may actually match or even exceed President Carter's record levels. Anyone who's gone to the grocery store lately and seen bare shelves and consumer staples selling for a dollar or two more than normal or has paid $4 a gallon for gas knows that inflation is far worse than official pronouncements.

As a result of this high inflation, ordinary workers are experiencing a significant fall in real wages — a Biden pay cut — and declining living standards. The situation is even worse for small businesses. The Labor Department also reported last week that the producer price index, which measures wholesale costs, increased by a record of nearly 10% in 2021. These rising costs are squeezing employers' already thin margins.

According to Odumbo's SecDef, "Joe Biden has been wrong on every foreign policy decision of the last 40 years.."

Apparently, we can ALSO add that he has been wrong on every domestic policy decision as well...

The facts were clear as to where this country's economy was heading..

But facts mean nothing to Biden and the Democrats.. All that means anything to them is their ideology... Their political agenda... That's it...

"We're going to beat this virus," claimed Biden on the eve of the 2020 presidential election. "We're going to get it under control, I promise you." Yet the virus still dominates daily life, and nearly 2,000 Americans are dying daily from it. Obviously, no president has the power to control a pandemic. But that only makes Biden's promise even more ridiculous. While he's not to blame for aggressive new COVID variants, he deserves to be held responsible for his single-track vaccinations response at the expense of testing and treatments that could have saved countless lives.

Last week, the Supreme Court stopped Biden's illegal employer vaccine mandate in response to a challenge brought by the Job Creators Network and its small business co-petitioners as well as other groups. The court confirmed what JCN has long argued: The Biden administration does not have the authority to implement this sweeping regulation that will burden American businesses, including many small businesses, with new costs and exacerbate the historic labor shortage. Yet rather than following the court's decision and pursuing alternative COVID countermeasures, Biden is stubbornly refusing to withdraw the illegal mandate.

Everything is kicking Biden's ass these days..

Like I said.. Ya'all would have probably been happier under a President Trump administration...

And even more from Real Clear...

Biden's Disastrous First Year Drives Voters Into GOP Arms

"Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f*ck things up," cautioned Barack Obama during the 2020 Democratic presidential primary campaign. It's a warning the nation should have heeded. Even Obama must be surprised by President Biden's disastrous first year in office, which has been characterized by a war on small businesses, promises made and promises broken, and lies about COVID, the economy, and voting.
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2022/01/20/bidens_disastrous_first_year_drives_voters_into_gop_arms_147063.html

Odumbo was startlingly... amazingly prescient here...

Because Biden's administration has been one frak up after another... And the only real win he ever had, he needed the GOP to drag it over the finish line..

If THIS is an example of Biden's abilities with BOTH sides of Congress at his back....

Just imagine how incompetent he is going to be when the GOP owns Congress..

It's mind-boggling..

Was that a productive argument, in line with his promise to unify the country, RCP started to ask. “Look what I said. Go back and read what I said and tell me if you think I called anyone who voted on the side of position taken by Bull Connor that they were Bull Connor,” Biden interrupted. “That is an interesting reading of English,” the president continued, his voice raised. “I assume you got into journalism because you like to write.”

(According to a White House transcript of those remarks, here is what the president said in Atlanta: I ask every elected official in America: How do you want to be remembered? At consequential moments in history, they present a choice: Do you want to be on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?)

The New York Times reported at the time that Biden “left no doubt that he has reached a breaking point when it comes to voting rights, lashing out at the holdouts in the Senate and comparing them to some of the country’s most infamous racists.” And the paper of record wasn’t alone in noting the explicit comparison. The Senate Democratic whip, Dick Durbin, told CNN shortly after Biden’s comparison that “perhaps the president went a little too far in his rhetoric — some of us do.”

Biden got REAL defensive about his Georgia speech..

As Spock noted, if you are defensive, it means you know the other side's argument has merit...

The Georgia speech was panned and decimated by both Republicans AND Democrats..

THAT is how bad of a speech it was..

Sure, there are those who loved it because of all the hate and bigotry and divisiveness it contained.. The fact that the haters and the bigots and the dividers loved the GA speech tells you all you need to know about it..

The clarification didn’t sit well in Kiev. After the press conference wrapped up, CNN quoted an unnamed Ukrainian government official who warned that “this remark potentially gives the green light to Putin to enter Ukraine at his pleasure. Putin senses weakness.”

Even Biden ADMITTED that he has given tacit approval for Russia to commit "small incursions" into Ukraine...

Reuters followed up, asking Biden if he was giving Russia permission “to make a small incursion into the country.” Biden laughed, admitting that is “how it did sound like, didn’t it?”

There you have it.. From Biden himself...

Now let's go to the RCP Reporter who got Biden so riled up.. :D

Defiant, Unapologetic: Biden's Marathon Presser
By Philip Wegmann - RCP Staff
January 20, 2022

President Biden, frustrated but defiant in the face of layered domestic and international crises, held forth for nearly two hours Wednesday in just his second solo press conference at the White House, breaking historic records while blaming Republicans and defending the results of his first 12 months in the Oval Office.

There was bravado. Biden insisted his accomplishments were “bigger than any president has ever gotten in the first year.” Unabashed audacity too: “I make no apologies for what I did,” he said about how the war in Afghanistan was ended. And, at times, confusion: One minute, he rejected the suggestion that he needed to be “more realistic” about passing his legislative agenda; the next, he conceded his Build Back Better spending plan would likely need to be broken into “big chunks.”

Please keep in mind that RealClear is the ONLY OFFICIAL unbiased and objective news source that is acceptable here in Weigantia(™michale)...

It's obvious from the presser that, while they have Biden on some really good drugs that's up'ing his energy level to unheard of heights...

The senility and dementia of Joe Biden still continues to shine thru...

NEW POLL: More Than a Third of the Country Gives Biden an ‘F’ for His First Year in Office, Just 11 Percent Give Him an ‘A’

One year into his term, more than a third of the country believes President Joe Biden is flunking out, a new survey finds.

According to a Politico/Morning Consult poll out Wednesday, 37 percent of respondents give the president an “F” for the first quarter of his presidency. By contrast, a meager 11 percent give Biden an “A” thus far, while 20 percent give him a “B.” Nearly a third of the country put Biden in the “C” or “D” category — with 18 percent giving the president a “C” and 12 percent giving him a “D.”

At this point in his term, Biden’s failing grade exceeds even former President Donald Trump’s. The 45th president got an “F” from 35 percent of Americans, compared to Biden’s 37 percent.

"The legislative filibuster is a central Senate tradition. It is the indispensable feature of our institution. It makes the Senate serve its founding purpose: forging compromise, cooling passions, and ensuring that new laws earn broad support from a cross-section of our country."
-Mitch McConnell

Once again, Democrats recognize the wisdom of Senator McConnell's words..

Because they are words that Democrats THEMSELVES used in the past to DEFEND the filibuster..

And yet, NOW Democrats do a 180...

Hypocrisy.. It's not a bug in Democrat programming. It's a feature.

Here's the best course of action..

Let's wait until Jan 2025 when the GOP owns the Senate...

THEN we'll see if Democrats STILL want to de-fang the filibuster... Mmm'kay??? :D

"Allowing one party to exert complete control in the Senate with only a simple majority will only pour fuel on the fire of political whiplash and dysfunction that is tearing this nation apart. Contrary to what some have said, protecting the role of the minority – Democrat or Republican – has protected us from the volatile political swings that we have endured over the last 233 years."
-Joe Manchin

If only Democrats would recognize the wisdom of Senator Manchin's words..

Oh wait! Silly me!! OF COURSE Democrats recognize the wisdom of Senator Manchin's words.. They were the words DEMOCRATS THEMSELVES used when THEY were in the minority Party..

Lemme ask ya'all a serious question. And I would REALLY like a serious answer..

Hypocrisy....

Short-term thinking....

Stepping on yer own wee-wee...

It's obvious that these traits are required for membership in the Democrat Party..

Are these traits that Democrats are BORN with??

Or do they hone them for years and years before they can become full-fledged Democrats???

Enquiring minds want to know.. :D

Democrats' attempt to use a "nuclear option" to get around the filibuster for two major elections bills failed Wednesday after the gambit from Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was stymied by Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema.

Manchin, D-W.Va., and Sinema, D-Ariz., joined all Senate Republicans in opposing the attempt to alter the Senate filibuster on party lines, resulting in a 48-52 final tally. That vote followed a failed attempt by Democrats to advance the election bills over the Senate's 60-vote filibuster threshold. All Republicans opposed it.

Here is the Democrats conference before the vote..

"Hay!!! I got a great idea!! Let's do the same thing over and over and over again and hope for a different result!!"
"What a great idea!!"

Ya'all really need to come to grips with the facts and the reality..

Democrats are thru.. The next months are going to be taken up with campaigning for the mid-terms.

Election Cheating Act?? NOT gonna happen...

Nuking the filibuster?? WON'T happen..

Democrats actually getting ANYTHING done.. Off the table..

This is the reality of the Democrat Party in the here and now.. Brutal defeat after brutal defeat... Ferocious slap down after ferocious slap down...

The fun fact is this.. Ya'all would be a LOT happier if President Trump had won the election.. Ya'all (NEN) could wallow in yer hate and bigotry and ya'all (NEN) would be happy, wallowing in the muds of yer own creation...

But look at ya'all now.. Living in despair at the utter incompetence of ya'all's Democrat Party and the ONLY thing you have to look forward to is ANOTHER President Trump administration.. :D

I actually almost feel sorry for ya'all... In a perfect world, no one should be THIS miserable...

But, buck up.. Happier days are coming. In 2023-2024, the GOP will OWN the US Congress and then ya'all can let loose with the hate and anger..

And then, come 2025, President Trump will mark a triumphant return to the Oval Office and ya'all will be able to mud wallow to ya'all's heart's content... :D

And America will be better off as well...

Ya'all get to wallow in hate and bigotry and America actually gets leaders that are competent and does GOOD things for this country..

Everyone wins... :D

Here's to our coming Happy Days..... :D

And then there was the time Biden lost it with a reporter who questioned his YOUR GOING TO HELL speech in Georgia..

The press conference got heated when Biden yelled at Real Clear Politics correspondent Phillip Wegmann to "Go back and read what I said" after Wegmann asked about his voting rights speech in Atlanta earlier this month. Biden was criticized at the time for saying that those who disagree with him on the legislation are comparable to reviled segregationists.

"Well, now that makes two presidents who have yelled at me—Trump and Biden," Wegmann wrote following the bizarre exchange.

"GO BACK AND READ WHAT I SAID!" Biden yells in response to the (mild) Phil Wegmann beginning to ask a mild question about Biden's comparison of political opponents to racists. Then reiterates the thing that got everyone mad? Holy wow is this weird," Senior editor of The Federalist Mollie Hemingway wrote.

"Biden is now yelling at Philp Wegmann over his own usage of Bull Connor and George Wallace," commentator Stephen L. Miller observed.

"Biden now angrily abusing a reporter in defense of his indefensible Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis line," National Review Editor Rich Lowry echoed.

Biden's GA speech was panned as a hateful and divisive and bigoted speech by both Republicans AND Democrats..

So we now know Biden is VERY much on the defensive and the bi-partisan criticism is starting to get under Biden's skin..

And that GA speech was a VERY hateful and VERY bigoted and VERY divisive speech.. Even DEMOCRATS acknowledge this..

"DO you want to be on the side of Bull Connor?? Do you want to be on the side of George Wallace?? Do you want to be on the side of Jefferson Davis??"
-Joe Biden

Of course I don't!! That would make me a DEMOCRAT!!!!

Who in their right mind would want to be a DEMOCRAT!!???

Social media quickly circulated a clip of Biden where he appeared to tell reporters that he did not overpromise what he could get done in his first year in office, but that he has, on the contrary, "outperformed" what people thought he was capable of.

"I'm not sure what planet he's inhabiting but on planet earth his record is a record of failure," Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson responded.

"Biden just claimed he has ‘outperformed what anybody thought would happen’ Sheer lunacy," Buck Sexton said.

"Joe Biden says he’s outperformed what anyone thought was possible in his first year in office. Really. He just said this," Outkick's Clay Travis reacted.

Perhaps the most startling comment of the evening was Biden's response to a question about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Biden said that while he believes an invasion is imminent, the United States is prepared to impose significant economic consequences should Russia move forward. But, he clarified, a "minor incursion" by the Russians would elicit a softer response from the U.S. than that of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

"Biden is attacking the legitimacy of American elections while signaling Putin to try a "minor incursion" in Ukraine. None of this is normal. None of this is OK," National Review senior writer Dan McLaughlin responded.

"Biden just appeared to okay a "minor" Russian incursion of Ukraine. So, invasion of an independent neighbor nation is bad. An incursion is OK with this president," conservative commentator Andrew Malcolm agreed.

SO, basically Biden gave Russia the signal that they can commit incursions into the Ukraine, as long as they were "minor" incursions..

That's like claiming, as long as an assailant commits "minor" assaults in raping a woman, then that's OK..

:epic eyeroll:

Well, this does clarify one point.. We now know for a FACT that it's Biden who is doing Putin's bidding..

First Biden removes all US obstacles for Putin's European pipeline and now Biden is giving Putin the go ahead for "little" penetrations (IE rape) of Ukraine and Ukraine's sovereignty...

Oh yes.. There are many MANY impeachments in Biden's future...

Oh... OK... I'll talk about this Biden presser...

Biden's press conference gets panned by critics: 'Total disaster'

One commentor quipped, 'Joe Biden didn't do a press conference for months. We all understand the reason why.'

President Biden spent most of 2021 avoiding press conferences, but he held one on Wednesday, which was panned as being a "total disaster."

The White House had high hopes for Biden's press conference on Wednesday — hoping to paint the administration as a less-cloistered outfit that embraces the public and transparency. With Biden's strikingly low popularity numbers, the president was expected to cast himself as a competent leader, who is in touch with the problems of everyday American voters.

But the debacle that took place behind the podium from the East Room of the White House on Wednesday did little to support that persona according to reaction to the press conference.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/biden-press-conference-panned-critics-total-disaster

Apparently, ya'all are easily impressed.. :D

Because, according to the facts, Biden's (I still feel sorry for Biden, so I don't feel right adding the 'Basement' part) presser was a total disaster...

Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Senate minority leader, also tweeted that the Democrats who voted with Schumer supported shattering "the soul of the Senate for short-term power."

"Fortunately, a bipartisan majority saved the Senate and ensured that millions and millions of Americans’ voices will not be silenced," he posted.

A reporter for ABC News said she caught up with Sinema shortly after the vote and asked her what she thought the next steps will be for voting rights.

Sinema reportedly responded, "Have a nice night."

It's really nice to see PRINCIPLED Democrats care more for the country than they do for their Party...

I never knew there WERE any Democrats with principles... Color me shocked to learn that there are.. :D

Inaction is not an option on voting rights

Because Republicans blocked these bills that protect the right to vote:

We’re going to vote on changing Senate rules for these bills

The Senate must choose in favor of our democracy

The Senate must stand up and defend voting rights
-Democrat Chuck Schumer

BBBWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What ya gonna do about it, Chuckie Boy??? :D

Your plan to end the filibuster has gone down in flames..

ANYTHING Chuckie does to get the Election Cheating Act done by hook or by crook will be ruled Unconstitutional by the SCOTUS...

Democrats need to face reality and the facts..

Democrats lost.. Democrats ALWAYS lose... Because they simply don't know how to competently govern..

@Cad,

Now it's getting interesting. Democratic donors are telling Sinema they want their money back and they'll support a primary challenge against her if she doesn't drop her filibuster fetish to pass voter rights and John Lewis.

Not factually accurate. A single donor (Emily's List... OOoooooo scary) has decided to try and extort Sinema to their will...

From what I read, Sinema replied with a big mighty FRAK YOU... :D

Sinema serves her constituents, not big money lobbyists... And her constituents are behind her all the way..

Just like Joe Manchin and West Virginia..

So, once again, you are living in a dream world...

Looks like Joe is trying to lead his party out of it's self inflicted glass-half-full doldrums. In other words, practicing good politics. As though one had some experience and expertise at it.

Yea... Howz that Election Cheating Rights and nuking the filibuster going?

BBBWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The only thing Biden and Democrats know how to do these days is LOSE!!! :D

Great summary, CW. Thank you.

On the heels of Biden's press conference, the Supreme Court handed down a majority decision that rejected Trump's request to block release of White House records to the committee investigating the events leading to January 6:

SCOTUS rejection of Trump's claim of executive privilege

The majority pointed to a federal appeals court's conclusion that Trump wouldn't have been able to claim executive privilege even if he were still in office. Emphasis added by me, of course.

So how the hell is that not a unanimous decision by the SCOTUS when it's a slam-dunk issue regarding executive privilege? Ahhhh, but leave it to Justice Clarence Thomas... who doesn't explain his dissent.

Is anyone really surprised at Thomas's vote? His wife Virginia "Ginni" Thomas is a well-known right-wing activist and right-wingnut hysterical conspiracy theory spreading Trump cult supporter who posted on Facebook on January 6. It was even rumored that she might be involved in organizing some of the right wingnuts that stormed the Capitol, although I've seen no evidence of that... yet... with regard to her actually organizing.

But, hey, who among us wouldn't be eager to have the January 6 committee receive the thousands of pages of White House documents to potentially find out who visited the White House, who phoned who, who conspired with the fake electors from multiple states, and who was involved in the pre-planned conspiracy to deny Joe Biden the already foregone conclusion of his presidency as contained in the signed and sealed documents sent to the National Archives by each of the United States?
Answer: Oh, maybe Ginni's husband, Clarence Thomas.

Why? I mean, it's not as if there's anything at all out there in the public realm that would maybe point to Clarence Thomas's wife's support of the January 6 attempted coup, right? Well, not exactly. It seems dear Mrs. Thomas signed a public letter calling on "Leader McCarthy" to "act immediately to remove" Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger from the Republican conference. That's your right-wing hysterical hypocritical cancel culture practiced by those Republicans who obviously support the idea that the GOP/Republicans/"conservatives" should march unified in lockstep in order to protect those committing crimes (as obviously evidenced by multiple hundreds of thousands of minutes of digital/film footage). The letter states, among other things, the following:

The actions of Reps. Cheney and Kinzinger on behalf of House Democrats have given supposedly bipartisan justification to an overtly partisan political persecution that brings disrespect to our country's rule of law, legal harassment to private citizens who have done nothing wrong, and which demeans the standing of the House.

As duly elected representatives, Reps. Cheney and Kinzinger are free to serve in the House, but they should no longer do so with the privileges granted to members of the House Republican Conference. They should no longer be given access to the benefits of a conference they actively seek to undermine.

CONSERVATIVE LEADERS: REMOVE CHENEY AND KINZINGER FROM HOUSE REPUBLICAN CONFERENCE

Wow. These questions come to mind:

* Did no one explain to Mrs. Clarence Thomas that several dozen of those "private citizens" that have "done nothing wrong" (according to her) have actually pled guilty to their wrongdoing and/or were witnesses to wrongdoing?

* Clearly from hundreds of videos widely viewable by the public, there were multiple crimes committed and captured for all posterity... so what might Ginni Thomas be attempting to conceal by signing an instrument such as that?

* Under federal statute, justices are required to recuse themselves from cases where their "impartiality might reasonably be questioned" or where their spouse has "an interest that could be substantially affected by the outcome." So why didn't Mr.

Okay, good column and thanks for summarizing it for those of us who missed his presser.

Looks like Joe is trying to lead his party out of it's self inflicted glass-half-full doldrums. In other words, practicing good politics. As though one had some experience and expertise at it.

So much is going to happen before election day that job approval and generic Congress polling is next to meaningless at this time.

Now it's getting interesting. Democratic donors are telling Sinema they want their money back and they'll support a primary challenge against her if she doesn't drop her filibuster fetish to pass voter rights and John Lewis. You'll recall that Sinema accepted hundreds of campaign contributions from BigPharma and promoting opposed allowing We the People to negotiate lower costs. So I'm glad to see that can and is going both ways. Effing DINO.

Now, on to the column...
