On your concerns that the story of the killings of law enforcement officers in California by right-wing nuts hasn't been getting coverage, I have to disagree. I remember reading about it as it happened, including the encouraging news that the FBI had infiltrated and brought down the mini-terrorist cell that was plotting to spread chaos and death. I know the FBI has been under pressure from Barr and Trump to follow the party line that there is no such thing as white supremacist domestic terrorism, but at least some of those agents know a threat to the public safety when they see it.

Just took time to read it more carefully now, and I think I'm right to say that people in the state of California are not the only ones mourning the death of these TWO law men, Federal Protective Services officer Dave Underwood and Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Sgt. Damon Gutzwiller and the attempted murder of several other deputies in a case that should be getting proper coverage on all the major news outlets.
