And the argument that the White House ruled that the Congressional subpoenas were not properly constructed and were therefore denied required Congress to seek judicial review is laughable. The White House does not have the authority to make such a ruling as to the validity of the subpoenas. THEY had 2 choices for how they had to respond: Either give Congress what it sought OR seek the court’s opinion as to the validity of the subpoenas. They did NEITHER, therefore the obstruction of Congress charge is warranted.

But remember, as long as Trump BELIEVES in his tiny little heart that every thing he does is in the “nation’s best interest” he is above the law....he is above impeachment...he’s KING! Trump’s defense team has pretty much made away every independent and undecided voter run in horror! Good job.

There's a reason for Trump and his counsel's cover-up and refusal to allow testimony: Many of them were directly involved in the shakedown, and government officials cannot use constitutional privileges to hide evidence of their illegal actions... the "crime/fraud exception" to executive privilege.

So Trump's impeachment counsel are insisting he holds "executive privilege" that Trump has never invoked, and meanwhile Trump has waived executive privilege in multiple Twitter rants... claimed... just ordering no one to testify or supply documents to 70+ requests for documents and multiple subpoenaes and forcing them into court, when meanwhile the Department of Justice is arguing in court that the House -- "We the People" -- have no standing in court and their only recourse is to impeach.

After the ruling in the McGahn case in the House's favor, Bolton agreed to testify, and if the Senate fails to do their job and is complicit in the cover-up by orchestrating the first impeachment trial ever in the history of our nation wherein witnesses would be blocked, the House should simply subpoena and depose John Bolton and anyone else who decides to come forward based on his newly obtained testimony... since there is no immunity from prosecution for them like the POTUS enjoys until he's out of office, and as demonstrated repeatedly, the Trump loyalty rolls only one way.
