They should have put together a bill that amply funded all aspects of border security, including replacement barriers and new barriers where they could be strategically placed, and throw in a few immigration-related issues and protections for those undocumented immigrants already here. They might even call it, ah, wait for it, comprehensive immigration reform. What's not to vote for? Haven't the Democrats missed a golden opportunity here?
