He resigns in exchange for keeping his business, not to mention staying out of Sing-Sing. He takes his movement into the wilderness to fight another day.

3. Upon being sworn in, Pence is seized by persistent apoplexy as he realizes there is no one to ape, gaze lovingly upon, or tell him what to think. The four unindicted cabinet secretaries vote unanimously to invoke the 25th Amendment.

Over 40 years ago the majority of my flying in Europe was under NATO orders. Admittedly, that was mainly so it was easier to get off crumby European air bases and get something decent to eat. Regarding the question towards the end, I doubt that the intelligence community are sharing anything except what they have been explicitly ordered to share.
