My theory about one reason the Cohen-Trump-Hannity triumvirate is sneaking around, it came in the form of an epiphany while I stumbled across the Stormy interview on the view...If one listens between the lines, takes into account some suspicious timing and rethinks why she is going to all this trouble over something that doesn't really offer a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, one is left with the unsettling notion that her daughter is Trump's love-child. I think this whole affair is preamble to a paternity suit that could yield millions of dollars and bring about the collapse of Trump's marriage and presidency, I'm fairly sure having a child with porn star while your married isn't mulligan-worthy. Perhaps this doorman at Trump tower was paid his hush money to cover this act of fecundity? Time will tell, but you can't but think there's an elephant in the courtroom that has yet to unpack its trunk.

Hannity + Cohen -- the circle is almost complete...

So Cohen was wiretapped by the FBI, and he and President Trump filed motions to suppress same. Cohen/Trump's lawyers insist that Hannity was Cohen's client and therefore discussions between Hannity and Cohen are protected by attorney-client privilege, and Hannity insists he's not a client of Cohen. My, oh, my.

So reading between the lines: What is it that Trump and Cohen don't want us to know that Cohen discussed with Hannity? Y'all see how Trump's mouthpieces are now insisting Trump has many lawyers and Michael Cohen is just one of them... already trying to distance himself from Cohen and getting ready to throw him under the proverbial moving bus.

Countdown is officially on now for Michael Cohen's indictment in the near future, and I suspect Hannity will not escape the long arm of the law either.

The noose is indeed getting tighter. :)

“I might have handed him 10 bucks, [to say] I definitely want your attorney-client privilege on this, something like that,” Hannity said.

Is that the legal standard? Sounds to me like it would have about the same weight as asking everyone in the room to say they're not a cop.

So impressed with Hannity at the moment, how he fled for the sanctuary of his radio dis-information platform to leap to his own defense. He captions the old line..''A man with a face for radio'' Hannity reassured his listener that his association with Cohen was merely informational, and not of the salacious variety for which Cohen is widely regarded as an authority. Seems Hannity can no longer wheel out his laughable parse of the 'Trump tower meeting' being 'obviously harmless' as no one thought to cover their tracks, ergo there being no impropriety. He's feeling the full force of the farce this motley crew have woven fumblingly around their activities. A look, I hasten to add, that suits him down to the ground...he should pull up Russian Mobster, blaze a cheroot, and loll awkwardly about to see what next disaster his 'worth every penny he paid' council lands himself in next.

Where the f%#K was Cohen when my ex-wife was casting about for a lawyer? Some people have no sense of timing.

Remember that time Sean Hannity ripped George Stephanopoulos for reporting on the Clinton Global Initiative without disclosing that he had made donations in the past and was livid that ABC had no journalistic integrity for not firing Stephanopoulos?

Not wanting to appear hypocritical, this is no doubt why Hannity disclosed he was Cohen's client when he was ripping the "deep state" a new one for multiple raids... oh, wait... I'm being told that Hannity made no such disclosure and is insisting that he never paid Cohen and just had a few talks with him. This, of course, kills Cohen's argument for a client privilege relationship in order to protect Hannity, but then no one ever accused Hannity of having a brain with which to reason.

Sean Hannity was just revealed as Michael Cohen's "secret" client. The hits just keep a comin'!

Cohen was only required to reveal clients he'd had in the last three years, which he'd previously revealed to number three: Trump, the recently disgraced Elliott Broidy, and an unnamed "prominent personality", who turned out to be Hannity.

While it's clear to anyone with a brain, ears and eyeballs that Hannity is on "Team Trump", this level of collusion between the Right Wing media and the executive branch is just unprecedented.

Hey, I've got an idea: since we can now drop the pretense that Fox is 'fair and balanced' in any sense of the term, and since Hope Hick's old job of White House Communications Director remains (I think) unfilled, why not make Fox the Official White House communications office? Imagine how much more watchable press conferences would be if staged by Fox. Presidential addresses would have their own theme music. And Fox, now working on the government's dime, could ignore those pesky advertisers and their insistence on 'decency'.

And I agree with the rest of what you've said.
Even the expulsion of Russians last week played into Putin's hands - it gave him an excuse to close the US St. Petersburg embassy, from whence came all of that strangely specific intel about the troll farm that Mueller used.

"To get the Russians out of the way, of course. God forbid the Russians should lose a man; we'd be up to our necks in pee videos before lunch."

I'm of the opinion that Trump had very little to do with the decision to slap Assad. Last week, Trump was going to take the USA out of Syria - in a week. I see the missile strike as a Pentagon decision, which a distracted and understaffed White House signed on to at some point.

Running with this, I think Putin is about to demote Trump from "Useful Idiot" to "Useless Idiot." Putin will go for a "twofor." "I made you, I can take you down."

Slippery James Comey, a man who always ends up badly and out of whack (he is not smart!), will go down as the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!

Here's some fodder for thought...Amidst the Syrian, Cohen, Stormy and Comey cloud one person, well a couple of people have drained from the daily news cycle. Mueller and Manafort! Seems Mueller has played a deft card with the Southern District of New York and the DA there, he's taken the heat off himself and his probe and refocused Trump elsewhere. Not that feather floating by or a Leaf falling from a playoff wouldn't serve the same purpose.

My trick knee is telling me this week upcoming will see the rubber hit the road, Agent Orange is casting about for scapegoats while his mistakes loom larger and larger. The buses are becoming less frequent, their lust for unwitting sacrifices met...Time for repentance and the rule of law to join hands. .

[17] John: Yet given ALL of this, its absolutely amazing the condemnation the Black Lives Matter movement still gets for shining a spotlight on simple truths people go out of their way to try to deny to acknowledge.

Most of that 'condemnation' manufactured by Fox News. It's discouraging to see Fox's wink-wink racism go substantially unchallenged. They still get awards for journalism at banquets, as if they've come within a half mile of journalism anytime in the last decade. And their well-meant coddling of bad cops is just making it harder for good cops. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to discover that Fox has Russian connections too, given their talent for exacerbating every debate.

[16] Balthasar

"In the "you can't make this stuff up" department:

Police arrest two black men for doing nothing

The two were sitting at Starbucks waiting on a friend, who showed up as they were hauled away for 'trespassing'."

Which goes along with the narrative of being arrested for "driving while Black" in America.

Or being shot and murdered by the police.

Or that most of marijuana arrests are of brown and black people.

And don't forget the 14 year old African American boy who was almost shot and killed recently by the homeowner for just knocking on a neighbor's door asking for directions while on his way to school.

Yet given ALL of this, its absolutely amazing the condemnation the Black Lives Matter movement still gets for shining a spotlight on simple truths people go out of their way to try to deny to acknowledge.

Agreed, Balthy...it was my attempt at subtlety. We live in an age where the words gross negligence and incompetence is assigned where traitorous should apply. Eye-rolls are no longer enough, Trump and his Benedict Arnold show need to be held to account. Trump's pardoning of Scooter Libby is part of this ongoing smirk at the American notion of right and wrong...seems Trump has decided that his sense of decency is the bar to which all must now be held.

why did Agent Orange warn these wretched people a hail of missiles was imminent?

To get the Russians out of the way, of course. God forbid the Russians should lose a man; we'd be up to our necks in pee videos before lunch.

I'm curious, why did Agent Orange warn these wretched people a hail of missiles was imminent? The assumption here is, he heard from his 'Organ Grinder' the French and British were going to give Assad a slap and piled on.

Between running his mouth and taking victory laps for the action of others, Trump is finally getting the exercise his sycophantic DR nudged him to get.

Note to self...go hang around Chapters 'bargain bin for fiction' to see if I can snag a copy of Comey's book. The temerity of the Trumpian spin machine to refer to Comey's book as salacious, and in the same breath, declare Trump as being pure as driven snow, is beyond belief. Between the Access Hollywood tape, Stormy, a playmate and now a Trump Tower doorman, I think we all know who to believe when we measure the handy work of Trump and Comey.

What we have learned in the last 24 hrs or so: Cohen has only one client and Cohen doesn't practice law. There is no attorney-client privilege in that architecture. All of the rivets have popped in Trump's legal defense. One of two things is going to sink: Trump or Rule by Law.

the extended citation is pretty awesome, I have to admit.

Before it's all over, she'll likely be cowering under a bridge alright, but I doubt she'll have the wherewithal to pay for it. :)

Tough use of words to use in response to Comey, methunk...considering the talking points in the media today. Their man in Washington is taking it on the chin daily now, so glad he got to squeeze off a few missiles at something today, I'm sure he's exhausted from all the excitement. He hasn't had so much fun since Stormy got laid off from her position at the glory-hole.

Happy Friday one 3.
