Hannity + Cohen -- the circle is almost complete...

So Cohen was wiretapped by the FBI, and he and President Trump filed motions to suppress same. Cohen/Trump's lawyers insist that Hannity was Cohen's client and therefore discussions between Hannity and Cohen are protected by attorney-client privilege, and Hannity insists he's not a client of Cohen. My, oh, my.

So reading between the lines: What is it that Trump and Cohen don't want us to know that Cohen discussed with Hannity? Y'all see how Trump's mouthpieces are now insisting Trump has many lawyers and Michael Cohen is just one of them... already trying to distance himself from Cohen and getting ready to throw him under the proverbial moving bus.

Countdown is officially on now for Michael Cohen's indictment in the near future, and I suspect Hannity will not escape the long arm of the law either.

The noose is indeed getting tighter. :)

Is that the legal standard? Sounds to me like it would have about the same weight as asking everyone in the room to say they're not a cop.

Not wanting to appear hypocritical, this is no doubt why Hannity disclosed he was Cohen's client when he was ripping the "deep state" a new one for multiple raids... oh, wait... I'm being told that Hannity made no such disclosure and is insisting that he never paid Cohen and just had a few talks with him. This, of course, kills Cohen's argument for a client privilege relationship in order to protect Hannity, but then no one ever accused Hannity of having a brain with which to reason.

Cohen was only required to reveal clients he'd had in the last three years, which he'd previously revealed to number three: Trump, the recently disgraced Elliott Broidy, and an unnamed "prominent personality", who turned out to be Hannity.

While it's clear to anyone with a brain, ears and eyeballs that Hannity is on "Team Trump", this level of collusion between the Right Wing media and the executive branch is just unprecedented.

Hey, I've got an idea: since we can now drop the pretense that Fox is 'fair and balanced' in any sense of the term, and since Hope Hick's old job of White House Communications Director remains (I think) unfilled, why not make Fox the Official White House communications office? Imagine how much more watchable press conferences would be if staged by Fox. Presidential addresses would have their own theme music. And Fox, now working on the government's dime, could ignore those pesky advertisers and their insistence on 'decency'.

Even the expulsion of Russians last week played into Putin's hands - it gave him an excuse to close the US St. Petersburg embassy, from whence came all of that strangely specific intel about the troll farm that Mueller used.

I'm of the opinion that Trump had very little to do with the decision to slap Assad. Last week, Trump was going to take the USA out of Syria - in a week. I see the missile strike as a Pentagon decision, which a distracted and understaffed White House signed on to at some point.

Running with this, I think Putin is about to demote Trump from "Useful Idiot" to "Useless Idiot." Putin will go for a "twofor." "I made you, I can take you down."

Most of that 'condemnation' manufactured by Fox News. It's discouraging to see Fox's wink-wink racism go substantially unchallenged. They still get awards for journalism at banquets, as if they've come within a half mile of journalism anytime in the last decade. And their well-meant coddling of bad cops is just making it harder for good cops. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to discover that Fox has Russian connections too, given their talent for exacerbating every debate.

Yet given ALL of this, its absolutely amazing the condemnation the Black Lives Matter movement still gets for shining a spotlight on simple truths people go out of their way to try to deny to acknowledge.

The temerity of the Trumpian spin machine to refer to Comey's book as salacious, and in the same breath, declare Trump as being pure as driven snow, is beyond belief. Between the Access Hollywood tape, Stormy, a playmate and now a Trump Tower doorman, I think we all know who to believe when we measure the handy work of Trump and Comey.

Tough use of words to use in response to Comey, methunk...considering the talking points in the media today. Their man in Washington is taking it on the chin daily now, so glad he got to squeeze off a few missiles at something today, I'm sure he's exhausted from all the excitement. He hasn't had so much fun since Stormy got laid off from her position at the glory-hole.
