The problem with Trump has nothing really to do with fitness in the medical sense for the job of being president of the United States.

No, the problem is that in the course of running for president (and I don't mean just in the last couple of years as he apparently has been thinking about such prospects for many, many years) and being president, his words and actions have demonstrated a paucity of common human decency, compassion and empathy, not to mention an unwillingness to learn about the issues and policies that he has been tasked to shepherd on behalf of an entire nation.

In addition to that, he has an overabundance of mean-spiritedness, vulgarity and an uncommon need to elevate himself by demeaning others.

President Trump is an example of someone who grew over time into an essentially bad person who is quite capable of presenting himself as a good person, if only for fleeting moments.
