You can hear it in the reporters beginning to <b>finally</b> call Trump on his pathological lies and watch him either walk back his answers or make a fool of himself by insisting something that is obviously a lie is the truth and some Republicans <b>finally</b> beginning to speak the truth about the Emperor who has no clothes and not even a closet to put them in if he had any. Trump can't possibly be aware of how utterly ignorant he looks when he insists that something that is demonstrably false is true simply because he repeats it over and over and "many people are saying it" or "many people feel the same way." A lot of people believe(d) the world is flat and felt the same way, but that could not and does not make the Earth anything but round... you know like Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Mars, Uranus. The only tweets of Trump's that are interesting lately are some of his tweets from the past. <b>Donald J. I have to admit I don't care very much about this topic. The president is in my face already, all the time, with his tweets which are reported as if they were emails from God.

It seems Trump fatigue is setting in across the nation. You can hear it in the reporters beginning to finally call Trump on his pathological lies and watch him either walk back his answers or make a fool of himself by insisting something that is obviously a lie is the truth and some Republicans finally beginning to speak the truth about the Emperor who has no clothes and not even a closet to put them in if he had any.

As for press conferences, as you say they are simply vehicles for him to say what he would otherwise tweet, and for him to bait the media in person. He doesn't engage with the press in the sense of giving honest answers to informed questions, which is what a presidential press conference is supposed to be about. If he says anything outrageous, it's just as if he'd said something outrageous in his many other venues or channels - and nothing he says can really surprise or outrage us any more at this point, can it?
