Yeah, sadly, for the most part I agree. Obama does have a proud legacy, but for the most part it is from his first two years in office. That, plus killing OBL.

The House and the Senate always pass lotsa stuff they know will never pass the other house. Even when the parties are in control of both chambers. Nancy Pelosi used to complain she'd passed 400 bills that Reid couldn't pass, back in the day. If McConnell takes over, look for Boehner to make the exact same complaint about him, too. Betcha 100 quatloos....

That is simply not true.. The House has sent HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of bills to the Senate. Harry Reid just let them die there...

... and will likely be mindful that "...and then for the next two years, the president vetoed everything and Washington ground to an absolute halt" is not going to be what he wants written about the end of his term by future historians.

I'm thinking that should be the very least of his concerns about what will be written of his last two terms and, indeed, of his entire administration.
