Exactly. Just another way that they are exploited. But they and their children also could pay taxes legitimately if they were given legal status.

Everyone pays taxes: they're withheld, before the worker ever sees the money. (Well, everyone except Wall Street types, who can make income look like unrealized capital gains.) Undocumented immigrants don't file returns and use fake social security numbers, so they don't get their refunds and don't gain eligibility for social security retirement benefits. In the long run, every form of irrational animus against a group of people is phased out in favor of a new one against a different group. The people trying to turn the US from a place refugees flee to into a place refugees flee (or "self-deport", as it's called in the current edition of neo-Orwellian) from are guaranteed to lose eventually. At least as regards the particular group at issue in each generation.

It's clear that the American people don't want illegal immigrant amnesty... It's also clear that the Democrat Party is desperate for those freshly minted Dem voters.. Guess what's going to guide Obama's decision?? Ya'all just have to ask yerselves one question.. If illegal immigrants voted overwhelmingly for the Right, would Democrats be pursuing their Immigration agenda as forcefully as they are?? If ya'all are honest with yourselves, you would concede that the answer is "no"... Which simply proves that Democrats are doing what's right for the Democrat Party, at the expense of what's right for the country... Democrat Party first... Country a very distant second... Michale

I like Mexicans, so I find it difficult to understand why Real Americans hate Mexicans so much. They are fruitful and multiplying and somebody has to pay taxes so that I can live the life of a Forty-Seven Percenter

If the illegals were actually paying taxes, then you would have a point..

But they aren't so, as usual, you don't....

For the record, I hate mexican food... It's too spicy..
