Actually, it has come full circle -- I wrote the article after hearing Menendez interviewed.

But it looks like the sanctions are not going to be in the military appropriations bill...

The Senate group, led by Sens. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., and Mark Kirk, R-Ill., has agreed that the new sanctions would take effect in six months, when the current interim deal brokered between the U.S., Iran, and five other world powers expires. The sanctions would permit Iran to develop nuclear power for commercial purposes, so long as the development is monitored by the international community.

"We'll do sanctions tied to the end game where the relief will only come if they stop the enrichment program, dismantle the reactor and turn over the enriched uranium," Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. told CNN Monday.

Of the 1.6 million people who signed up for obamacare, only .14 million of those actually signed up for private market health insurance.....

The other 1.46 million who signed up, signed up for MEDICAID....

This is projected to cost the Federal and State governments up to a TRILLION dollars over the next decade...

And I can personally attest to how bad government run medicaid really is....

This is why I don't understand how people can say, "Let the government run health care!!"

I like the new site.. In websites, less is always more and your site really nails it. My problem with anything creative is that I never know when to stop.. I always add a cute graphic here or a nifty font there.

Yeah, I felt a little bad about #7 (which is why I linked to that particular article, which does treat the issue fairly), but hey Republicans do this sort of thing all the time (pointing out Democrats dealing with strange issues in Congress) so I felt it was fair enough. To me, it's about the priorities in December, a month when Congress will only be in session a handful of days. They've got better things to do right now, that's my point.

Was rather more about spending for scientific & space exploration. I understand your eagerness to jump on the one point; but, to me, scientific research is a valid government expense.
