GOP: We demand Obama resign today, or we'll shut down the government!

Obama: No.

GOP: We demand Obama resign next year, or we'll shut down the government!

Obama: No. There was an election.

Dems are actually the ones who have compromised on the budget deal -- they accepted the full sequester. GOP has not given one inch. They don't even know what they're fighting for anymore.
