Seriously? You're ragging on Obama for taking a few days to weigh options?

Actually, Obama has been "weighing the options" for MONTHS.. Assad first used CWMDs against the rebels back in March..

Obama didn't concede this til June..

I mean, calm down. A few days of confirmation and lining up a coalition is a good thing, not a bad thing.

It's a bad thing when it's a stalling tactic. It's a bad thing when it's pretext to ignoring the situation all together..

Considering what's happening in the here and now, it looks like Obama is simply going to stick his head in the sand and hope people will forget his "red line" BS...

And, no, the whole "X Derangement Syndrome" will always be used to describe opponents, sorry. You'll have to come up with a new term to describe blind support, because this one's already been pretty adequately defined.

Adequately defined by (and for) the Left, you mean..

1. the act of deranging or state of being deranged
2. disorder or confusion
3. psychiatry a mental disorder or serious mental disturbance

Nothing in the definition states that the derangement MUST be in opposition or precludes the use of the term to describe irrational support..

Seriously? You're ragging on Obama for taking a few days to weigh options?

How many days did Bush wait before launching his wars? I seem to recall it was quite a few -- even after 9/11.

I would never say you suffer from "Bush Derangement Syndrome" because it's just silly (to put this another way).

apropos to nothing in particular, i think there should be a constitutional amendment granting states primacy over the federal government when it comes to the enforcement of controlled substance policies. that way each state can make up its own mind, and federal drug enforcement can go where it's wanted, not where it's resented.

“We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized.”

How priceless...

There is VIDEO of Syrians being gassed by Assad forces..

Yet Obama, ignoring his OWN red line, is waiting to gather facts..

Does anyone wonder why the US has lost ALL credibility in the Middle East???

Again, it's astonishing to think that Obama's Foreign Policy chops were his biggest asset...

. But still, have you ever seen more convincing evidence of Obama Derangement Syndrome than this? Because I haven't."

Keep in mind that "Obama Derangement Syndrome" works BOTH ways...

Those who excuse Obama for being more Bush than Bush *ALSO* suffer from ODS....

One can be "deranged" in your SUPPORT of someone, just as much as one can be "deranged" against someone..

Think about it...
