On the tech blogs anytime someone tries to blame it all on Bush or Obama they are quickly corrected that this is private citizens vs the US government and has spanned both parties and many administrations. It is also quickly moving beyond the US to the governments of western civilization vs it's citizens as more and more countries come out that they either had access to the NSA info or are likely running their own similar surveillance.

Like I said, that's the result NOW..

But that is only because it's Obama and a Democrat Administration we are talking about...

Back when it was Bush, *everyone* wanted to blame Bush and the Republicans.. It was all about their evil and their wrong doing..

NOW that Democrats are in charge????

NOW the story is "It's not a partisan issue", the story is "it doesn't matter about Right v Left or Dem v Republican"....

THEN it was WHO was implementing the policy...

NOW the issue is the policy itself and the implementer, the DECIDER, is blameless...
