I hear your point, but there have only been three WTA contests so far, and Gingrich won one of them.  Granted, one was Florida with 50 dels, but even so, most have been proportional so far.

But is it also partly because the non-frontrunners concentrated on some proportional states, while Romney had enough money to compete everywhere?</description>
