Hey, torches of Bastille Day. However, I'm skeptical about the claim that you actually sell the merchandise you offer for sale.

Well, it shows a little more than that ...

1. The gap has grown to it's biggest point since the 1920s
2. It's still growing
3. The wealthy have benefited most from tax cuts (corporate welfare)
4. Trickle down theory has not worked. Nothing has trickled down.

So any time I hear any politician proposing some form of "trickle down" theory, I'm skeptical.

Oh, there is no reason to believe that these projections are not accurate. But,I think we're confusing debt with deficits. :)

My point was that the Obama administration will have a much better record of getting budget deficits under control and managing the national debt.

Speaking as one of the "poor" I would have to say, "So??"

Yea, it would be nice if the rich could be less rich so the poor could be less poor..

It would also be nice if Buffett would send me a million dollars. He can afford it, right??

But that's not how things work in this country. If someone wants to be rich, then let them EARN it..

Trust me, it's a LOT more satisfying when wealth is earned, rather than given.. I know.. :D

The debt has been accumulating under several administrations, both Republican and Democrat.

However, the Congressional Budget Office has studied the cost of policies under the last two administrations, with projections to 2017. They have found that the Bush policies have cost $5.07 trillion dollars while the Obama policies are - projected through fiscal 2017 - to cost 1.44 trillion dollars.

"Uhh... Ms Warren?? If Bush is responsible for the FOUR Trillion dollars in debt and, by your own saying, the way to AVOID that is not to do those things..... Well, can you explain where the other TEN TRILLION DOLLARS in debt came from???? And should the country have done THOSE things??? HMMMMMMM??????? Well?????????"

Obama and the Democrats have almost TRIPLED the debt that they castigate Bush for...

Warren doesn't seem to realize that the guy who got rich building the factory ALSO paid the people who built the roads, ALSO paid the people who educated his workers and ALSO pays the police and fire personnel...

The factory builder did everything that everyone else did PLUS put his own money and sweat equity into building his business from the ground up..

So, please explain to me why ANYONE else deserves the benefits of THAT guy's sweat and labor??

If someone wants the monetary benefits of building a factory or having a great idea, here's a unique and astounding idea...

Let them go out and BUILD a factory!!! Or HAVE a great idea!!!!
