I've been beating this drum for a while now. If the SS cap had kept pace with inflation, it would stand at 180K now, instead of 106K. Get rid of altogether, and you solve the entire SS "crisis" in one fell swoop. Which is why it never even gets brought up for discussion on cable news... sigh.
