Seems like Boehner is keeping true to his promise to change the way the House operates, for better or for worse (for him and his party). He just lost another vote, on the F-35 engine.

There was one interesting article on the Huffington Post, a few months back, which suggested that the Tea Party folks could work together with Lefties on a number of different issues. I forget who wrote it, and I'm too lazy to look it up unless you're REALLY interested, but I did want to say that others were talking about it. FireDogLake, as well, may have been pushing this theme for a while, if memory serves.

For better or worse, the stimulus bill was passed in record time by the last Congress. It was the highest priority. My point is about Republican priorities, which seem to be ass-backwards, wouldn't you agree?
