Nah. I don't buy it. I think you're a softie on the inside :)

Damn!! ;)

"Not buyin' the bullshit!!"
-Robin Williams

My guess is they disagree with most of what she says and find her unqualified for the positions she's held.

If that's the case, then they are pretty fracked in the head..

You don't get to be the most popular governor in a state with such unique challenges by being unqualified...

My theory is that the Left had thought they had sewn up the "women in high office" meme...

They got mad as hell that the GOP would have the unmitigated gall to actually try and put a woman in high office..

You should have seen Taylor Marsh after Palin was selected as McCain's running mate.. She said some things that would normally have a NOW member screaming in rage.. Had the target been a Lefty, of course..

As to why the Right and many independents like her?? Probably because the Left hates her so much. :D

Me personally, I think she is really hot. Both mentally and physically...

She's a cross between Margret Thatcher and Gretchen Wilson http://bittenandbound.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/gretchen-wilson-gets-ged.jpg ... :D

Good talking with you again. I honestly missed ya.. :D

Oh believe me, it's true... :D

Nah. I don't buy it. I think you're a softie on the inside :)

Perhaps you can enlighten me.

Me personally? I stopped following her shortly after her failed run with McCain. As for others? My guess is they disagree with most of what she says and find her unqualified for the positions she's held.

I kind of hope she runs for President though. Why? Because she turns a lot of Republicans and Independents off. And she inspires some great comedy :)

Any idea why the Republican base likes her so much?

David,

I still don't understand why the Left is so down on Palin..

Perhaps you can enlighten me..

As far as the GOP taking credit for the recovery?? I would think that would be a given.. I see it as business leaders and such saying, "OK, now the grown-ups are back in charge.. We can breathe a little easier now" and so follows a recovery...

(BTW- I laughed at your joke but someone who was truly arrogant typically would never make that joke. So I don't believe it for a second! But thx for the chuckle.)

Oh believe me, it's true... :D

"Of course I'm arrogant. I've EARNED it. What's your excuse??"

Ah, the irony of declaring a Palin-free month.

Yet I think we should do our part as well. And not click on or watch anything having to do with Ms. Sarah. Maybe we should launch a website called whocareswhatsarahthinks.com :)

Nice call CW on "Improve it" as far as healthcare goes. The Republican line is: "Repeal and Replace". If that truly is the case, why not "Improve It"? It's the same thing. Except of course that I don't think they care at all about replacing it and have offered zero ideas about what they'd replace it with.

Michale, wanna make a bet about how soon it is before the GOP starts taking credit for the economic recovery? (BTW- I laughed at your joke but someone who was truly arrogant typically would never make that joke. So I don't believe it for a second! But thx for the chuckle.)

tinsldr2,

Chris, your articles are always much more interesting then a typical HP rant about someone who quit halfway through a term as governor, and who writes talking points on her hand.

Leave it to the Hysterical Left to concentrate on inconsequentials..

Had Palin stayed on as Governor, they Hysterical Left would have pounded her for staying on and causing the state all that extra grief and money.

The Hysterical Left simply doesn't like Palin, as a person.

The reasons they give are not important. If there wasn't anything to slam Palin about, the Hysterical Left would invent something. Just like they did with her leaving the governorship..

It's also funny how they say crap about her style of cliff notes, yet are completely mum about Obama's security blanket, the teleprompter..

Liz,

I thought ya might like that... :D

tinsldr2,

Sir, tried to post this on Huffington Post and I guess it didn't fly :)

Not too surprising. HuffPo is one of those Head Stomping Echo Chamber blogs that I go on about... They tend to censor any dissent, especially if it is logical and rational...

I am in Complete Agreement with Michelle above on the Jobs thing!

I am assuming you mean me.. It's spelled 'Michale', but it's pronounced "Arrogant Prick".. :D

Bashi,

Still completely ignoring the single most obstructionist minority party in in the history of the Senate?

The only things I saw the GOP obstruct was the things that the American People WANTED obstructed..

How else do you explain the shellacking of Democrats at the Mid Terms???

Apparently the American People didn't mind the obstructionism...

Personally, I think most of the jobs bills have worked and is starting to kick in. Before Obama had won the election, Warren Buffett predicted that the recession would recover naturally in around 5 years +/- and in as little as 2 years with aggressive government involvement. Considering the US government went about it half way with all the Republican obstructionism, 3 to 4 years recovery seems about right.

Whatever helps you to sleep at night.. :D

As far as your link?? FactCheck has already been proven to be in the bag for the Obama Administration.. You might as well quote MediaMatters or HuffPo and call it reality...

CW,

The Hysterical Left can't NOT talk about Palin... One only has to peruse Matt or Cesca or Suzie or Oliver to see this is true...

tinsldr2 -

That's an interesting point. From the Milbank article (he's issuing the challenge to sign the pledge):

"Will Politico - with 96 Palin items in the past month alone - join this cause? Will the Huffington Post, which had 19 Palin mentions on a single day last week - stand with me?"

I have to admit, 19 in one day is a lot... but I bet none of them were from me...

Democrats would do well to quit TALKING about how important JOBS JOBS JOBS are and actually start DOING something about it.

Still completely ignoring the single most obstructionist minority party in in the history of the Senate?

Personally, I think most of the jobs bills have worked and is starting to kick in. Before Obama had won the election, Warren Buffett predicted that the recession would recover naturally in around 5 years +/- and in as little as 2 years with aggressive government involvement. Considering the US government went about it half way with all the Republican obstructionism, 3 to 4 years recovery seems about right.

Joining with the GOP to repeal CrapCare would be a great start...

I am in Complete Agreement with Michelle above on the Jobs thing!

Dems have held the Congress for 4 years and the presidency and Congress for two and we have 9 % unemployment since they took over.

Republicans still have only the House and DEMS still Control the Gov so how can harping on the crummy UNEMPLOYMENT the DEMS caused and have not yet fixed be good for them?

Sir, tried to post this on Huffington Post and I guess it didn't fly :)

I read several Conservative Opinion sites, 1 of them on a regular basis. They have columns by about ten different prominent Conservative Columnists daily. Some of my favorites on the Conservative side, Malkin, Coulter, Sowell, Dick Morris and Eileen McGann, O'Reilly, Pat Buchanan (I cant stand and don't read him), Oliver North, Larry Elder, Michael Reagan, John Stossel,Walter E. Williams, Jonah Goldberg and many many more.

Yet I almost never see articles there about Palin. She is almost never a headline and if she is mentioned at all it is a small mention in an article. It is even rarer for them to Mention Glenn Beck on the Conservative site I frequent (who I do watch about 3 or nights a week).

Yet it is a RARE day that Huffington post does not have FRONT PAGE article about Palin or Beck and USUALLY one about each. Huffington Post ranks about 35th in all web traffic in the US. The Conservative Site I visit ranks just over 1000 in site visits in the US. So it is NOT the Conservatives keeping this woman in the news.

A couple of times a week she will appear on Fox news and a few mentions by leading Conservative Columnists. She had a bit of an upswing in Conservative Media notice after the Tucson shooting but she is daily in the spotlight on Liberal Media. It is not Conservatives propping her up at this point.

Moderators wont let me post the other sites name ;)

Let me redo that...

Jobs jobs jobs

This one's obvious, and Democrats already show signs of realizing they need to hammer this point home.

The problem here is that Democrats have already hammered that point home for the last two years..

And yet... here we are....

Democrats would do well to quit TALKING about how important JOBS JOBS JOBS are and actually start DOING something about it.

Joining with the GOP to repeal CrapCare would be a great start...

Sarah Palin is not responsible for this. The media is.

To a certain extent, yes.. However the greater responsibility belongs to the Hysterical Left..

The Hysterical Left went to soo far and soo low to vilify Palin that they made her the celebrity that she is today..

It's the old "enemy of my enemy" schtick...

The Independents and NPAs of this country are saying to themselves, "If the Hysterical Left hates Palin THAT much, then she must have a lot going for her.."
