No, I've just had lots of problems getting it to work since the upgrade. I tried an automated thing, but got tons of spam so I turned it off. Then I tried to hack my own version together, but never could get it to work right. Maybe I'll take another crack at it this weekend.

At the very least, I will update the page's text with a workaround:

If you'd like to send me a private message, post a comment to any article. In the post put at the top "PRIVATE EMAIL" and then paste two or three links into it. Just by pasting the following:

into the text of your message will assure that the public never sees your message, but also will bring it to my attention. Just for everyone's information. Like I said, at the very least I will post this "crude, but it works" workaround on the "Email Chris" page.

Well, check it out online (just got finished). Biden's name only came up in glancing reference to the DE race (in that it was Biden's old Senate seat), so "no worries" as the Aussies say.

Here's a link to show what I meant about the tension between Warren and Dodd being out in the open. You can tell by Dodd's comments that he really isn't a big Warren fan. His comments are fairly self-serving, though, because if Obama names someone next year (instead of "in a few weeks, or in the lame duck session"), Dodd simply won't be around to influence things.

I'm kidding, again ... sort of ...

It's mostly just rumors on the wind, which is why I so thinly "sourced" it. The Dodd/Warren rift is more out in the open. But one can assume that Geithner and Warren and Obama have hammered out some sort of workable arrangement for them all, again, if "reports" are to be believed. But it's mostly just inside-the-Beltway chatter, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Yes, that is definitely a 'trick question' but, it is one that continues to intrigue me.

Do you think Geithner realizes how 'radioactive' he has become? His public endorsement would surely be the kiss of death for Warren and her credibility with the "professional Left" who have reacted predictably to this announcement up to this point and whose collective head would surely have exploded at the slightest hint that Geithner supports Warren.

I'm looking forward, not surprisingly, to the announcement tomorrow with Warren sandwiched in between the president and the secretary as they sing her praises (as they have both been doing for many months now) and she replies in kind.

How do you think the "professional Left" will react to that? I can hardly wait!
