Holy smokes. If this is any indication of what turnout is gonna look like in November, the Dems are in mega trouble.

Another reason why Obama's numbers will continue to slide is the on-going CrapCare debacle..

MO was the first state to pass a referendum allowing Missouri citizens to ignore CrapCare's mandate.. You can bet that more states will follow thru with the same type of statement..

And what's the result?? Will Obama start suing every state that tells him to go pound salt??

Likely..

And just think what THAT will do to Obama's approval ratings..

Sorry, I don't mean to be so smug.. But you know how insufferable I get when I'm right.. :D

I guess it's because it happens so rarely these days.. hehehehehehehehe :D

Both Bushes marched us off to war in the Middle East, and reaped a "bounce" as a result. What about Clinton, when he attacked Iraq (Desert Fox, was it)? Did he get a bounce from that? I don't even remember.

Well, I think my statement last month of Obama's numbers are just going to get worse have been prophetic, eh?? And there is really nothing on the horizon that will bring his numbers back up. The oil well is all but capped now. A full cap and stoppage now will likely give him a small bump that won't matter much, statistically speaking. Kagan's likely confirmation will also make a small bleep, but nothing beyond that.. As I have said, short of another 9/11 (which IS coming) that the Obama administration actually responds well to (something I kinda doubt is possible..) I can't see anything on the horizon that can bring Obama's numbers back up... Oh, but I'm already down on record as declaring Obama a one-termer, ain't I? 'D As am I... If Obama's numbers go below 40% (something that is probable) you can bet that Hillary will be looking to replace him..... If Hillary does make a play for the Presidency, she'll have to relatively announce soon.. By spring at the latest.. As for that Reagan/Carter question?? I think calling him another Carter will due a grave injustice to Carter... And ya'all know how big a fan I am of Carter... Michale.....

Maybe he'll be the second Carter, and maybe he'll be the second Reagan I don't think he's gonna be the second Reagan. Reagan was a rightie in a center-right country. Obama's a leftie in a center-right country. I think we're looking at another Carter. Oh, but I'm already down on record as declaring Obama a one-termer, ain't I? 'D

Needless to say, his numbers are even worse among likely voters: 46% approve; 53% disapprove. And those disapprovals have been in fifties for a couple of weeks.
