And, we can be certain that Obama/Biden will not be guided by partisan politics when it comes to protecting the troops, bringing them home, and putting them in harms way in the first place.

I can't say that I'm surprised by the fact that the pundits and the media and most of the blogosphere and John McCain don't understand the Afghanistan withdrawal schedule. This is complicated stuff, after all. Which also explains why there is little media coverage, generally speaking. That would require at least some understanding of what is happening there and an ability to report on complicated issues.

The silence on Iraq is infinitely better than hearing either side try to put a misguided spin on it. Frankly, I've had about as much as I can take of all of that nonsense.

Fortunately, Obama/Biden are not swayed by the pundits or by the rest of the hapless media and blogosphere on withdrawing troops from Iraq or on resolving the mess in Afghanistan. And, we can be certain that Obama/Biden will not be guided by partisan politics when it comes to protecting the troops, bringing them home, and putting them in harms way in the first place.
