I'm with tc on this but, do you have any control over what ads are flashing across your site?

I keep seeing the some ones and they don't reflect well on what you're doing here ... Obama Care - Stop Him! ... Sarah Palin - 2012 ... Economic Crisis - Who is to blame? with pictures of Bush, Obama, Clinton ... etc.

With this kind of stuff, I'm afraid that people will get the wrong idea about what this site is all about.

OK, all three Banter pieces seem to be up and running. They are:

The layout on the side stuff still has a few problems, and may at random appear in strange places on the right sidebar (the order of appearance may get wonky).

Everyone, please let me know if you experience any problems with the site or the ads. And thank you for your continued patience with my poor attempts at layout and coding...

Thanks! Washington Week would be a lot of fun, I have to admit...

OK, here's an update. I kind of/sort of got another piece working. The banner ads seem to be OK now, and I've added the "Banter Media Group" widget, which keeps you posted on some other fine websites (and lists their most recent post, which is pretty cool, I have to admit, because I get listed on all their sites, too).

I know it looks a little funky with the old layout, and I'll be able to fix the style so it looks a little smoother in a bit here, but I've still got at least one more piece to get functionally working before I deal with layout and style.

Anyway, enjoy the BMG group, as this website is now a proud member, which also includes other such luminaries as Matt Osborne and Bob Cesca.

I bet I speak for those of us familar with your work when I say it's excellent news that more ads are coming.
Look forward to the day when you have to regretfully explain to an prospective advertiser that you will be unable to get his new ad "up" until Monday given that your webmaster (the masthead kitty?).....has to accompany you to DC for your appearances on Washinton Week and CSpan's "The Communicators".
