Chris,

Just a quick note about expectations ... they are always high here. And, you always exceed them! So, you don't have to worry about that.

And, besides ... we don't come here for the comment code, you know. :)

<strong>Program Note:</strong>

Our comments code is about half-upgraded here. There should be no visible changes from the way it used to work before, but comments are now being served up with a whole new batch of code, in an interim test to see how the new code works.

New features will be turned on in the next few days here, but they really aren't all that impressive, I have to admit (just so you don't get your expectations too high). But I did want to warn all regular readers that the comments are now being handled by new code.

Please let me know (you can just comment to this article, or send me an email) if anything looks different at all. Any changes you notice (good OR bad), PLEASE let me know right away. I'm trying to debug the new code, so it's important data for me to hear right now, good or bad.

I've got most of the functional changes made, and have just to do some formatting before I roll out the complete new system. So, please, please, let me know if anything seems amiss in the next day or so, as to: (1) how comments appear, (2) how comments function, and (3) ANY differences you have noticed between the old system and the new.

Thanks for your help.

<I>Come November, I'm sure we'll all be here to provide one big collective shoulder for you to cry on. :)</I>

Time will tell.. :D

Remember all the neat and wonderful things that Obama et al said would happen if the Porkulus bills were passed??

They were passed.

Where's all the benefits??

This country's economy is still in the toilet. Unemployment's as high as 12.5%..

Nancy Pelosi stated emphatically that there will be NO HealthCare legislation without a Public Option??

Where is it??

Don't ya'all get tired of being lied to over and over and over again??

At least when Bush "lied" it was in the interests of National Security to keep American's safe..

Obama and Democrats are simply lying to protect their corporate donors and to keep themselves in the money and in power...

So many sheeple.... So many sheeple...

Chris,

Well, President Obama made a few remarks the other day about the agreement with Russia on the new START treaty, flanked by Secretary Clinton, Secretary Gates and Admiral Mullen. After the president spoke he left and turned it over to the others.

After they had all spoken, the press was able to ask a few questions. One came up about the prospects of ratification in the Russian Duma. To which Secretary Clinton responded by indicating that President Obama had suggested that Rahm might be sent to Moscow to ease that process forward. She added that the rest of national security team quickly endorsed that proposal and that if President Medvedev needed that kind of assistance then the White House was ready, willing and able to do that!

It was hilarious! I'm beginning to really like the Secretary of State.

Form <b>Politico</b>
<i>Briefing reporters on the newly reached START agreement between Russia and the United States, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton joked that President Obama had proposed sending White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel to Moscow to help whip votes in the Duma.

"We all immediately endorsed that offer," Clinton said. "So, you know, if President Medvedev wants to take us up on it, we're ready."</i>

<I>I'd love to see someone other than me go apoplectic over the next few months. And, it may as well be the Republicans ... well, them and Michale. :)</I>

When yer right, yer right..

Many Republicans ARE apoplectic over all the bad news resulting from CrapCare..

Me?? Not so much?? Any sour grapes I have now are not so bad due to the knowledge they will be much MUCH sweeter come the first week of November... :D

I am still gabberflasted that ya'all are so giddy that CrapCare past..

The way ya'all talked down about it all year, your reactions are totally partisan..

I must say, I find it somewhat surprising..

But I must give credit where credit is due. Even though the country lost and lost big.

Pelosi was right.

Once CrapCare passed, THEN we would find out what's in it. And to date, it's all bad news. From not covering pre-existing conditions in children, to massive layoffs and insurance hikes from large corporations to a raise in insurance premiums upwards of $2K for family households....

Yea, GREAT legislation ya'all won there.. :^/

The ONLY silver lining is that, the worse CrapCare hurts every day Americans, the more Republicans there will be around in 2011 to get rid of the damn thing.

So, take ya'alls victory lap, enjoy that cake.. :D

I believe ya'all will be served crow on 3 Nov 2010.. Large heaping steaming helpings of crow.. :D

As for Rahm, did you happen to see what Secretary Clinton said about him today at the official announcment of the new START agreement with Russia? It was pretty funny.
